New Port Richey Detectives Search for Hit n Run Driver

On March 14, 2022, at approx. 3:38 a.m., a hit and run crash involving
a pedestrian occurred on U.S. Highway 19, just south of Floramar Terrace. The pedestrian victim sustained serious bodily injuries. 

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white pickup truck that fled southbound on U.S. Highway 19. The vehicle is believed to be a 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 4-door pickup truck with silver or reflective aftermarket mirror covers and black fender flares and might have damage to the driver-side mirror and/or headlights. Video surveillance from a nearby intersection revealed a white pickup truck traveling southbound immediately before the crash.

HCSO Detectives Search for Bank Jugging Suspects

On March 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., two subjects followed the victim from the Bank of America located at 3030 Kennedy Blvd. W. to the Oriental Market at 3692 Waters Ave. W. At the market, the black male suspect seen in the photos, exited the vehicle, approached the victim and pushed her to the ground. After taking her purse containing an undisclosed amount of money, he jumped into a black, 2019-2021 Chevrolet SUV, where the other suspect was. They fled eastbound on Waters Ave W.
 
The suspect seen in the photos is described as a black male, 25-30 yoa, 5'08"-5'11", 180-190 lbs., wearing a black knit cap, white hoodie with "NIKE" on the back, gray sweatpants, black/white basketball sneakers, face mask and a glove on his right hand.

TPD Detectives Work to Identify Bank Robber Who Struck Same Bank Twice

On March 8, 2022, an unknown black male entered the 5th 3rd Bank located at 1901 Swann Avenue W. The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money. Once the suspect received cash, he fled in an early 2000's model blue Jeep Grand Cherokee. 
 
The suspect is described as being 5'11", 200+ lbs., wearing a tan button down shirt, tan pants, one white and one yellow shoe and a blue ski mask with the eyes and mouth cut out. Detectives believe the suspect also robbed the same bank on February 18, 2022.

On June 20, 2019 at approx. 11:07 p.m., while the victim was cleaning in the kitchen of his residence in the 4200 block of East 10th Avenue in Tampa, an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds into the residence. The victim was struck and sustained injuries. The suspect fled westbound on East 10th Avenue and was described as a light or brown skin male, approx. 6', medium build, having a beard and wearing all black.

Tips Sought to Identify Driver of Vehicle that Crashed Into Backyard

On February 22, 2022 at 11:37 a.m., the driver of a blue 2018 Mercedes C300 2-door was traveling southbound on Covington Garden Drive at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a right turn onto Milestone Drive. The driver lost control of the vehicle, struck the cement curb, crashed through a metal fence, struck a pool enclosure in a residential backyard, then struck another metal fence. The estimated property damage is $20,000.
 
Immediately after the crash, the driver fled the vehicle on foot in a southbound direction. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts and had a white earpiece in his ear.

Tips Sought to Identify Suspects Who Attacked Driver After Crash

On February 14, 2022 at 2:20 p.m., the victim was attacked by 3 males after a traffic crash. A red sedan was traveling east on State Road 54 near Hospital Boulevard when it passed a Chrysler 300 then stopped abruptly. The Chrysler struck the rear of the sedan causing minor damage. The 3 occupants of the red sedan exited the vehicle and attacked the 45 year old driver of the Chrysler by punching and kicking him in the roadway. The suspects fled the crash scene. The victim sustained injuries. The 3 suspects are described as dark skinned males, short hair and wearing black t-shirts.

Hit & Run Crash Injures Road Ranger

On January 12, 2022 at 12:02 a.m., FHP Troopers were investigating a crash on southbound Interstate 75, north of Overpass Road in Pasco County. A Road Ranger was walking inside the closed portions of the roadway, designated by traffic cones and flares to indicate the center and outside lanes were closed. A sedan, traveling southbound in the inside lane, partially entered the center lane and struck the Road Ranger causing serious injuries. The vehicle is described as a silver or light gray Toyota Camry or Corolla, with a possible partial license plate number of "F90". Following the collision, the sedan continued southbound at a high speed.

Plant City Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Suspect

On December 13, 2021 at approx. 11:10 a.m., a black male entered the Crickett Wireless located at 117 West Alexander Street in Plant City. Once inside, he approached an employee and demanded iPhones or he would spray her with ace. The employee refused and the suspect ran from the business to an unknown location. The male was described as a young black male, approx. 5'11", thin build and last seen wearing black pants, a gray/pink hoodie and a white mask.

Tampa PD Detectives Work to Identify Robbery Duo Who Attempted to Steal a Purse Using a Distraction Technique

STATUS: OPEN

On December 9, 2021 at 7:52 p.m., two suspects followed the victim after she shopped at the Wholefoods located at 3740 Midtown Drive in Tampa. The male suspect attempted to distract the victim while the female suspect reached into the victim's purse while it was looped around her hand. She then took the wallet at which time the victim confronted the female suspect which led to a brief struggle. The victim was able to get her wallet back. 

 
The suspects were described as having thick Spanish accents. The female is believed to be 22-20 yoa, 170 lbs., 5'6", medium build, long brown hair and last seen wearing a teal long sleeve shirt, jeans, black/white sneakers and a sparkle face mask. The male is believed to be 22-29 yoa, 160 lbs., 5'6", skinny build and last seen wearing a black hat, dark blue long sleeve shirt, black pants, black/white sneakers and a white face mask.
