Pasco Detectives Look to ID Suspects in Car Burglaries

On March 15th and 16th around 3:00 a.m., two unknown male suspects attempted to break into several cars in the Holiday Hills area of Port Richey, FL. The suspects are white males, 14-17 years old, wearing hooded sweatshirts, shorts and face coverings. The suspect shown in the video is wearing a grey colored Nike hoodie, black shorts and black athletic shoes.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Committing Retail Thefts

STATUS: OPEN
Two unknown suspects are believed to have committed multiple retail thefts stealing a felony amount of merchandise from various stores in Hillsborough County. On February 19, 2021, shortly after 7:00 p.m., the suspects took items valued at over $1,000 from Publix at 13154 Highway 301 South in Riverview. Then on February 20, 2021, detectives believe the same suspects committed a theft from Sprouts located at 15110 Dale Mabry Highway North when they stole $1,100 in vitamins.
 
The suspects were captured on surveillance video at Publix. The male is described as Hispanic, 45-55 yoa, 5'10", medium build and possibly having his hair dyed blonde. The second suspect is a Hispanic female, approx. 50 yoa, 5'4" with a heavy build. They are believed to be traveling in a 2008-2014 Mercedes C-Class sedan (possibly a C350), silver in color with dark tinted windows and a sunroof.

HCSO Detectives Investigate Shooting Involving Three Female Suspects

STATUS: SOLVED
Three female suspects were involved in an overnight shooting that occurred in the parking lot of SD Banquet Hall located at 10101 92 Highway East in Tampa.
 
On March 14, 2021, just after 11:00 p.m., a victim was engaged in a verbal altercation with three unknown black females, which turned physical. Later, the three suspects got into an unknown white sedan.  A passenger of the vehicle fired shots from the car, striking the victim and three others. All four shooting victims were taken to a local hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene westbound on Highway 92.

HCSO Detectives Ask For Help to ID Suspects in Shell Gas Station Attempted Robbery

On March 3, 2021 at approx. 3:05 a.m., two unknown suspects tried to enter the Shell Gas Station, located at 5524 Van Dyke Road in Lutz. Although the suspects did not make entrance into the building, the suspects did cause damage to the front door by throwing a brick, breaking the glass.  The first suspect is a black male, 5'10-6'0, 190-210 lbs., wearing a yellow knit beanie, black mask, dark blue shirt and pants, with Nike shoes that have a yellow swoosh.  The second suspect is a black male, 5'8-5'11, 175-200 lbs. wearing a black beanie, black T-shirt, and dark athletic shoes.

TPD Detectives Ask for Help to ID Suspect in Armed Robbery

In October 2020, this unknown suspect, robbed a 25 year old victim who is deaf and mute while he was waiting for a bus located at the 8300 N. 40th Street bus stop.  The suspect approached the victim and used a black handgun to strike the victim several times in the head and then robbed the victim.  The composite sketch (attached) was created based on the victim's recollection of what had happened.

TPD Detectives Seek Tips to Solve Early Morning Murder

STATUS: Open
The victim, Calvin Engram, 50 years old, was walking from his residence to a nearby gas station to get coffee, a daily activity before being picked up for work in the morning. Shortly before 5:00 a.m. on November 4, 2020, gun shots were heard on 32nd Street North near Mohawk Avenue East in Tampa. Engram was found suffering from gunshot wounds. No property appears to have been taken and there is no indication he was involved in any type of altercation. Calvin Engram died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Video surveillance from a nearby business indicates that a dark colored vehicle was in the area at the time of the shooting and left at a high rate of speed.

HCSO Detectives Release Video of Suspects Who Robbed Victim After Super Bowl

STATUS: OPEN
Shortly after 3:30 a.m. on February 8, 2021, after the Super Bowl, two subjects offered the victim a ride from Ybor City to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino.  Instead, the victim was drove to the corner of Hartford Street and 70th Street South where he was ordered out of the vehicle at gunpoint.  The suspects demanded the victim’s jewelry.
 
After the victim complied, one of the suspects, described as a black male, 6', heavy build and last seen wearing a white football jersey with the number “45” on it, shot the victim before both suspects fled the scene in a 4-door sedan.  The second suspect, the driver, is described as a black male, 6', heavy build and last seen wearing a black shirt, dark blue jacket and tan boots.  The suspects can be seen in surveillance video obtained from along 7th Avenue before the incident.

TPD Detectives Ask For Leads In Double Homicide

STATUS: OPEN
On March 1st, 2021 at approx. 7:24 p.m. officers were sent to the 8100 block of N. Brooks Street in Tampa, on a report of a shooting.  Officers learned that there were two victims with gunshot wounds.  The first victim (an 18 year old, black male) was found in a black sedan at the scene, he was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.  Just over an hour later, officers learned that the second victim (27 year old, black male) had been taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, had also died of his injuries.  During the investigation the detectives learned that there had been an earlier altercation between two groups of people before the shooting occurred.

TPD Detectives Investigate Attack in SOHO Bar District

On February 8, 2021 at approx. 1:00 a.m., in the SOHO bar district after the Super Bowl, an unknown suspect attacked the victim who was a stranger.  The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered serious injuries requiring hospitalization.

HCSO Detectives Seek Tips from the Public in 2019 Unsolved Homicide

On November 22, 2019, at 12418 Spicer Place, Tampa, within the Bella Mar Apartments, gun shots were heard. An adult victim, identified as Kivontae Love, 12/16/1993, was found lying on the ground in the parking lot of the complex.  Love died as a result of the injuries he sustained. According to witnesses, two unknown black males were seen running from the scene immediately following the shooting. (Photo of Kivontae Love)
