TPD Detectives Work to Identify Apartment Burglary Suspects

On February 6, 2021 just after 7:30 p.m., in the Ava Apartment complex, located in the 4900 block of N. MacDill Avenue in Tampa, two unknown suspects forced entry into the victims apartment, which was not occupied at the time. Both suspects are described as being 20-30 year old black males, thin build and carrying bookbags. One suspect had dreads and the other wore a beanie hat.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Tips to Help Solve Brandon Homicide

On January 20, 2021, at approximately 6:30 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Cypress Trace Apartment Complex located at 812 Providence Trace Circle in Brandon. Deputies discovered a male victim who had been shot within the corridor of his apartment building. The victim, who was identified as Jahlil Lewis, 02/05/92, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Surveillance video shows a vehicle of interest leaving the complex within close proximity to the shooting. Detectives believe the vehicle to be a white Dodge Ram. The driver of this vehicle may have information relative to this investigation.

HCSO Detectives Ask For Tips To ID Shooting Suspect

STATUS: OPEN
On January 30, 2021 this unknown black male, entered the Mobil Gas Station at 11292 Boyette Road while holding a gun. The suspect approached the clerk and demanded the money, however, the clerk refused to give him the money.  The suspect then came around the counter and he and the clerk came face to face.  The clerk then punched the suspect which caused the suspect to fall backwards.  As the suspect was falling he intentionally shot the clerk, striking them in the arm. The suspect then took the money from the cash registered and ran from the scene.  The clerk is expected to make a full recovery. The suspect is further described as 16-22 years old, 5'7-5'9, 120-140 lbs.

HCSO Detectives Ask For Help To ID Kidnapping Suspect

On February 16th, 2021 at approx. 3 p.m., this unknown suspect stole a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan from the driveway at 2632 Green Valley Street in Tampa.  A 1-year old female was in the vehicle when it was stolen, she has been located and was not harmed. The suspect is a black male, 5'8-6'0, 150-160 lbs., wearing blue jeans, black shoes, white t-shirt with a black jacket across his shoulders.

HCSO Detectives Looking for Leads In Dover Homicide

On February 8, 2021 at 10:40 p.m., officers responded to Harwell Estates Drive in Dover after receiving several reports of shots fired in that area.  When the officers arrived they found an unidentified black male deceased in a driveway.  Detectives do not feel that this was a random act, at this time there are no suspects or descriptions of suspects.

Pasco Detectives Ask for Assistance to ID Suspects In Shootings

On September 28, 2020 and again on November 5th, 2020 unknown suspects shot into an occupied house located at 1530 Excalibur Street in Holiday. In September, over 30 rounds were fired from assault rifles and the suspects fled in a dark colored sedan.  In November, more than 20 rounds were fired and a dark sedan was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.  None of the people in the house were injured.

TPD Detectives Look for Information on N. 20th Street Shooting

On February 6, 2021 at approx. 3:21 a.m., TPD officers were sent to the 1200 block of 20th St. N. on a report of a shooting.  Detectives have learned that the suspect, a black male, mid 20's, 5"11, 200 lbs., shoulder length dreads and wearing dark clothing, robbed the victim before shooting him.  The unknown suspect fled the scene and the victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.  A gray sedan was seen in the area of the shooting and the occupants could have information about the incident.

Pasco Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Who Stole Controlled Substances

During the early morning hours of January 28, 2021, three unknown males forced entry into a pharmacy in the Land O' Lakes area. Once inside, the suspects identified the controlled substances and removed them from the business. The value of the stolen medication is approx. $26,000. The suspects were captured on surveillance video inside the pharmacy taking the items and carrying the stolen property outside. The vehicle utilized by the suspects is unknown at this time. All three suspects appear to be white males in their 20's to 30's and were wearing dark clothing with partial face coverings.

Pasco Detectives Investigate Business Robbery

On January 28, 2021 at 9:24 p.m., a white male entered the Save A Lot at 1824 US Highway 19 in Holiday and gave the clerk a note that advised he had a gun while demanding money from the cash register. The suspect is described as being 5'9" and was captured on store surveillance video wearing a yellow sweatshirt with "Nautica Competition" on the front.

Plant City Detectives Ask for Assistance from the Public to Locate Stolen Vehicle Containing Covid-19 Vaccines

On February 3, 2021 at approx. 3:00 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole a 4-door, 2018 Hyundai Accent, gray in color, bearing FL tag NPJJ58 from the Red Parking lot at the Strawberry Festival grounds located at 2805 W. Reynolds Street in Plant City .  The vehicle contained 30 vials of the Covid-19 vaccine which was being refrigerated in a cooler within the vehicle.  It is believed the suspect fled westbound on S.R. 574.
 
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, thin build, light skinned, long hair and was seen wearing a light colored hoodie.
