Between December 19 and 20, 2020, the two unknown suspects pictured entered the JW Marriott hotel located at 510 Old Water Street in Tampa.  While walking around, the suspect took two company tablets from a training room within the hotel.

Pasco Detectives Investigate Home Invasion Possibly Linked to Others
January 04, 2021

STATUS: OPEN
On January 2, 2021 at approx. 3:30 p.m., three unidentified black males arrived at a residence on Lynbrook Drive in Zephyrhills in a black Dodge Durango. The armed suspects forced their way into the victim's residence holding multiple family members at gunpoint. The suspects fled the location with cash. Detectives believe the suspects may be involved with other recent home invasions in Pasco County.

FHP Asking for Leads in Hit and Run Accident
December 28, 2020

STATUS: OPEN
On 12/27/20 at approx. 8:55 p.m., an unknown driver was northbound on Pleasure Drive at Darlington Road when they failed to stop at the stop sign.  The suspect vehicle continued on and attempted to make a left turn onto Darlington Road.  The driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a home located at 4414 Darlington Road.  The two occupants of the house suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle ran from the scene of the crash.

FHP Looking for Leads in Deadly Hit and Run

Update:  12/30/20 - Law enforcement has located the suspect vehicle. Moran Derraill Brown Jr., 11/1/1992 has an active warrant for: VOP Fleeing & Eluding, VOP Poss. of Cocaine and VOP DWLS.
 
On December 25th, at approx. 9:58 p.m., an unknown driver was northbound on US Highway 19 near Manor Drive when they struck a person who was walking near the turn lane.  The pedestrian (male, 22) died as a result of the crash.  The driver, who left the scene without stopping, was driving a 2012, white, A6 Audi, Florida tag number PXYU59.  The vehicle should have front end damage.

TPD Detectives Work to ID This Smoke Shop Robber

STATUS: OPEN
On December 16th, 17th and 18th three armed robberies took place at three different smoke shops. Two of the robberies took place within Tampa and the third one took place in Temple Terrace. It appears that the same person is involved in all three crimes.  In the most recent robbery the suspect was seen wearing a construction helmet and an older red Mercedes was seen in the area.  The suspect takes the cash from the cash registers and then specifically takes "Backwood" brand cigars.

TPD Detectives Ask for Tips to ID Suspect who Damaged Sunoco Gas Station

On December 10th, this unknown suspect caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the Sunoco Gas station located at 818 W. Platt Street in Tampa.  The video shows the suspect using his elbow to smash the glass of several of the store windows.

TPD Detectives Investigate Two Burglaries Possibly by the Same Suspects

On November 24, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., 2 male suspects forced entry into the Neiman Marcus store located within International Plaza at 2223 N. Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.  The suspects were observed by law enforcement and immediately fled the area in a black sedan. 

One suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, medium build, short brown hair and was last seen wearing a bright orange long sleeve shirt, dark pants and a blue mask. The second suspect is a white male, large build and wore a blue hoody, light pants, a red/white/black winter knit hat and a black mask. Detectives believe the suspects may be the same suspects who attempted to enter the store while it was closed on November 17, 2020.

HCSO Detectives Search for Stolen Food Trucks Possibly Taken to Miami Area
December 09, 2020

STATUS: OPEN
On November 16, 2020 between 3:43 a.m. and 3:52 a.m., unknown suspects utilized a Ford F250 pickup truck to steal a 2019 FRDM enclosed trailer bearing FL tag #LHZG98 from the parking lot at Hillsborough Avenue West & Sawyer Road in Tampa.  The red trailer is being utilized as a food truck and bears the name "Pizzeataly" on the side. The suspects fled southbound on the Veterans Expressway with the truck valued at approx. $30,000. The suspect vehicle is possibly a dark colored Ford King Ranch with a light color on the bottom and aftermarket rims.
 
Between 6:30 p.m. on December 2 and 8:00 a.m. on December 3, 2020, unknown suspects stole a 16ft black food trailer bearing FL tag #Y228AZ from the parking lot of FL Food Truck Builders located at 4901 Rio Vista Avenue West in Tampa.  The food truck has the name "Beginning Delights" on the side, a black fabricated shelf that holds 2 white propane tanks on the front and is valued at approx. $30,000.  The suspect vehicle is possibly a 2002-2009 Dodge Ram 2500, dark in color, with aftermarket rims and tires. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on the Veterans Expressway from Hillsborough Avenue.

On December 7, 2020 at 8:47 a.m., in the 6800 block of Lyman Avenue in Tampa, a 38 year old, Hispanic male was found deceased inside an abandoned blue BMW. At this time it appears the victim died from upper body trauma.

On November 2, 2020, just after 8:00 a.m., a 17 year old male was found deceased near N. 29th Street & E. 19th Avenue in Tampa after suffering injuries from a shooting.  The victim was identified as Marqueas (Papi) Williams.
