FHP Investigators Ask for Tips in Zephyrhills Hit n Run Fatality of Pedestrian

STATUS: OPENOn February 1, 2020 at 3:32 a.m., a pedestrian was walking on or across 6th Avenue when he was struct by a vehicle traveling eastbound, east of Armstrong Street in Zephyrhills. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene. The victim, who was identified as Alonzo Norton, 46 years of age, died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Debris from the vehicle's left front fender well was left at the scene and indicates the vehicle could be a Honda Pilot.

TPD Detectives Ask for Tips to ID Robbery Suspects

STATUS: OPENOn November 30, 2020 at 7:14 p.m., two suspects entered the Helzberg Diamond store located at 2223 N. Westshore Blvd. in Tampa. One suspect asked to see two diamond tennis bracelets while the other suspect walked around the store. Once the employee got the bracelets out of the show case, suspect number one grabbed them and both suspects ran from the store. The two suspects were dropped off by a third suspect who stayed in the vehicle. Both suspects were black males, 6'0 tall, thin build. The first suspect was wearing a black mask, gray scrubs, tan shoes, the second suspect was wearing a black mask, black hoodie, black pants with white stripes. They arrived in a newer, white, Toyota Camry.

STATUS: OPENOn November 7, 2020 at 1:49 p.m. two unknown suspects stole copper pipes from the JC Newman Cigar Company located at 2701 N. 16th St. in Tampa. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model, silver, Ford, F-150 pickup. There were two suspects that exited the truck and the driver remained.

HCSO Detectives Ask for Information to Help Identify Publix Robbery Suspect

STATUS: OPENOn November 14, 2020 at 5:05 p.m., an unknown white male approached the cashier at Publix located at 6434 Highway 41 N. in Apollo Beach and demanded cash. The suspect threatened to shoot the cashier, however, he did not show a weapon. The suspect is described as a W/M, 6'0", 170 lbs., wearing a white long sleeve shirt, jeans and a dark blue face covering. The suspect fled the store with cash and left in an older grey sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, with heavy rear end damage and missing a hub cap on the passenger side.
Shortly after the robbery, a subject matching the description of the robbery suspect exited the same vehicle at a Shell station in Palmetto. The subject can be seen on store surveillance video making a purchase at the counter. Detectives believe the subject in the video is the robbery suspect and that he lives in the Manatee County area.

TPD Detectives Investigate Evening Shooting

STATUS: OPENOn November 12, 2020 at 7:54 p.m., in the 1200 block of E. Palifox Street in Tampa, officers found multiple victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.
Two adult males died as a result of the injuries they sustained. Four adult victims sustained serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.

STATUS: OPENOn November 7, 2020 at 3:45 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the Fort Lonesome Grocery store at 13231 Highway 674 in Lithia. The suspect brought an Arizona beverage to the cashier and once the register was open, the suspect pulled a small silver revolver from his pocket demanding money. The suspect is described as a black male, 6'1"-6'3", 21-30 yoa, skinny, wearing a Georgia Bulldogs hoodie, black Champion sweat pants, white shoes, black gloves and a blue facemask. The suspect left the area on foot.

HCSO Detectives Look for Leads in Homicide at Basket Ball Court

STATUS: OPENOn November 10, 2020 at approx. 8:00 p.m., a shooting occurred near 50th Street and Sligh Avenue in Tampa. A total of eight victims were struck by the gunfire. One of the victims died from their injuries, two victims are in critical condition and the other five victims are in stable condition. Detectives believe that several people in a 2008 silver, 4-door Infiniti with tinted windows shot multiple times at the group of people who were gathered at a basketball court.

Pasco Detectives Seek Tips on Robbery Suspect

STATUS: OPENOn November 4, 2020 at 2:36 p.m., an unknown suspect entered Vapor Unlimited located at 32733 Eiland Blvd. in Zephyrhills. Once inside, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and took coins, silver bars and gold jewelry from the safe. The suspect is described as a W/M, 5'10", 180 lbs. and having a tattoo of an eagle on his right calf. The suspect arrived at the store on a bicycle with rusty silver handlebars and white forks. The handgun was black with a clear drum magazine.

STATUS: OPENOn October 5, 2020, three unknown male suspects were caught on video dumping trash from a trailer onto the roadway of Devon Street near 27th Avenue in Tampa. All suspects helped unload the debris from the trailer and then left the area in the truck together.
