New Port Richey PD Detectives Work to Identify Suspect Who Fraudulently Ordered a New Bank Card

On May 17, 2024 an unknown suspect fraudulently ordered a bank card for the victim's financial account. He was tracking the package and retrieved the newly issued bank card from the curtilage of the residence moments after it was delivered to the victim's home in New Port Richey. Several days later four (4) unauthorized withdrawals were made from the account totaling $20,000.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as a black male, approx. 6'03", 200 lbs., and arrived at the residence in a black Volkswagen, possibly a Jetta.

On April 17, 2024, shortly after 3:30 p.m., near the 1400 block of W. Busch Boulevard in Tampa, officers responded to 9-1-1 reports of shots being heard. The victim, 14-year-old Jevario Buie, was found deceased with injuries sustained from a gunshot.

FHP Search for Driver Who Hit Ambulance then Fled

On January 26, 2024 at 7:12 p.m., the suspect driver was traveling westbound on Interstate 4 at a high rate of speed. Just east of Exit 19, Thonotosassa Road, the suspect overtook and while passing a Polk County Fire Rescue ambulance with emergency equipment activated, collided with the left rear. The ambulance was transporting a 40-year-old stroke patient to a Tampa hospital. The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or gray Chrysler 300 and has significant passenger side damage. The suspect continued traveling westbound on Interstate 4.

Tampa PD Detectives Work to Identify Suspects Who Robbed Victims During Sale of Sneakers

On December 26, 2023, after arranging to sell a pair of sneakers to the suspect, the victim and his wife, who are both in their mid-thirties, arrived at the Park Terrace Apartments located at 4121 Royal Banyan Drive in Tampa. The victim left his wife in the car and entered a breezeway of the apartment complex with the suspect, where the suspect produced a gun and was joined by two additional armed suspects. The three suspects stole the victim's personal belongings before going to the victim's vehicle and robbing his wife. Neither victim were injured.
The photo provided is of the first suspect, which was captured at a nearby convenience store shortly after the robbery. He is described as a black male, late teens, approx. 6 ft., thin build and last seen wearing a black shirt and a navy-colored hat with fuzzy strings on it. The additional two suspects were believed to be black males in their mid-to-late teens.

On December 28, 2023, at approx. 9:20 p.m., two suspects entered a business located in the 3300 block of Grand Blvd. in Holiday, and displayed firearms while demanding money. One suspect displayed a tan colored handgun with an extended magazine and is described as a black male, approx. 6' and last seen wearing a black mask, black shirt, black shorts and black shoes. The second suspect displayed a black rifle or pistol carbine and is described as a black male, approx. 6' and last seen wearing a black mask, red hoodie, white/light gray shorts, red/white Jordans and carrying a black backpack. The suspects left in a blue car.

Plant City PD Detectives Seek Tips on Suspects in Christmas Shooting

On December 25, 2023 at approx. 9:41 p.m., a shooting occurred near Louisiana Street & South Morgan Street in Plant City. A victim, identified as Jamayais Bennett, 2/20/2003, died as a result of his injuries at the hospital. Witnesses advised that there possibly was a second victim. Just prior to the shooting, Jamayais was seen on foot in the area talking on a cellphone when another subject walked up to him. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone who may have been injured.
The suspect vehicle was described as an unknown make/model SUV, silver in color, which was seen approaching both subjects. The suspects shot multiple rounds from the SUV at both victims. On December 27, 2023 the second victim, identified as Zonteveon Shaw, 7/31/1993, was found deceased at a Plant City Cemetery.

On November 27, 2023, at approx. 1:17 a.m., following a concert at Club Skye located in Ybor City at 1509 E. 8th Avenue, Tampa, an adult male victim attempted to approach the performer for a photo, when unknown individuals who appear to be affiliated with the performer punched the victim.
Immediately following the incident, the victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Detectives are aware of the videos circulating social media and are working to identify the two (2) suspects involved. If anyone has video/photos from inside the club during the evening of the concert that shows the suspects faces, to submit it as it may help with the investigation.
