HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspects in Shooting

STATUS: OPEN
On September 28, 2020 in the parking lot of 8424 Sheldon Rd., an unknown suspect fired rounds at a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle exited and returned fire. No one is believed to of been struck by the gunfire.  Detectives believe the vehicle may be a silver Nissan Altima.

Pasco Detectives Look for Leads in 2017 Home Invasion

STATUS: OPEN
On October 31, 2017, three unknown armed suspects entered a residence on Bristlecone Court in Wesley Chapel and robbed the victims.  During the home invasion, one of the female victims was shot.  The suspect fled with cash and jewelry.  Surveillance video shows the suspects come from and re-enter a 4-door, unknown make/model sedan, possibly a Nissan Maxima.  
 
Suspect #1 is a B/M, 240-250 lbs., 5'9"-6', approx. 25 yoa and light skinned.  Suspect #2, is a B/M, approx. 5'9"-6', thin build and approx. 180 lbs. Suspect #3 is a B/M, described as being small, approx. 5'5"-5'9" and light skinned.

TPD Detectives Work to ID Suspects Using a Stolen Credit Card

The two unknown suspects seen in the 7-Eleven store surveillance video are believed to have burglarized a vehicle near S. Dale Mabry Hwy and W. Oklahoma Avenue where a credit card was taken.  The suspects purchased over $200 worth of merchandise with the stolen credit card.

HCSO Detectives Search for Home Depot Theft Suspects

STATUS: OPEN
On September 3, 2020, two unknown Hispanic males stole pressure washers, lighting and construction supplies valued at $1,738 from the Home Depot in Sun City Center.  When confronted in the parking lot, they fled without the merchandise.  Suspect #1, is described as being 6'2", 200 lbs., mid 40's and tattoos on both arms.  Suspect #2 is described as 6'1", 270 lbs., late 50's, a possible tattoo of a penguin or a ghost on his right calf.   The suspects left the area in a white, Dodge Ram pickup truck.

TPD Detectives Ask the Public for Tips in Homicide

On September 24, 2020, shortly before 7:00p.m., officers discovered a male victim who died from an apparent homicide at 1916 E. Columbus Drive in Tampa.  The victim was identified as Jared Asa Semp, 31 years old.  (See photo)

TPD Detectives Search for Suspect Who Took a Tow Truck

On September 19, 2020 at 9:26 a.m., an unknown black female took the victim's tow truck while it was parked at the Citgo Station located at 2610 N. 40th St., Tampa. The tow truck, that was towing another vehicle, was later recovered near N. 29th St. & E. Lindell Ave.  The suspect was captured on store surveillance video.

TPD Detectives Work to ID Shooting Suspect

On September 21, 2020 at 12:42 a.m. officers were sent to 1632 E. 7th St. in front of the Habibi Hookah Lounge on a report of a shooting.  This started as a verbal argument between two people and escalated into a shooting. The victim, who was shot in the leg, was trying to break-up the fight.  The unknown suspect is a b/m, dark complexion, long dreadlocks (pulled up), wearing white shirt, pink and white shorts.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspect in Theft of Truck & Tools

On September 6, 2020 an unknown suspect stole a white pickup truck containing numerous tools from Land and Sea Masters at 8012 Gibsonton Dr. The truck was recovered in Polk County.  The tools that were inside the truck are still missing.  The suspect is a white male who was caught on surveillance video.

Pasco Detectives Seek Tips in Early Morning Shooting
September 14, 2020

STATUS: OPEN

On September 13, 2020 at approx. 1:35 a.m., four suspects approached a single-family residence on Irene Loop in New Port Richey. The suspects split up and went to different areas of the home.  One suspect, later identified as Kyle Beavers, W/M, 17 yoa, fired shots into the home and has been arrested.  An adult female inside the home was shot and died as a result of the injuries she sustained.  The remaining three suspects are believed to be either juveniles or young adults and their identity is unknown at this time.  Area surveillance video captured a 4-door sedan that is believed to be the suspect vehicle.  Additional surveillance caught an unknown male in the area.
