TPD Detectives Investigate Ace Cash Burglary Attempt

On July 31, 2020 at 5:43 a.m., two unknown males broke into the Ace Cash Express at 4025 W. Hillsborough Ave.  The suspects attempted to force open the safe, but were unable to steal cash.  Suspect #1, white or Hispanic male, thin, wearing long sleeve green shirt, dark shorts, orange covering on head, black/white sneakers.  Suspect #2 white or Hispanic male, thin, red long sleeve shirt, red shorts, beige hat, white mask, gloves, black/red sneakers. The suspects left in a silver, Ford F250, with a tool box in the bed, sunroof & running boards.

HCSO Detectives Look for Suspect Who Took Utility Trailer

STATUS: OPEN
On August 12, 2020 at 6:56 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a 14x7 Bigtex utility trailer, FL tag EMK135, from the Palm Gardens Assisted Living at 3850 Upper Creek Dr. in Sun City Center.  The suspect was driving a gold, possibly Chevy pickup, black wheels and rims, with a metal tool box in back.

HCSO Detectives Work to ID Puppy Thief & Return Stolen Puppy

On August 13, 2020 at approx. 3:30 p.m., an unknown suspect grabbed an 8 week old Maltese puppy from the All About Puppies store at 13705 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. and fled the store leaving in a red Kia Spectra. The suspect is a W/M, early 20's, thin, skull tattoo on right wrist and butcher knife tattoo behind left ear.

On August 3, 2020 at 5:59 p.m., an unknown male entered the 7-Eleven located at 1324 US Highway 19 in Holiday and grabbed the victim's wallet from their hand.  The suspect then fled the store on foot southbound on US Highway 19.  The suspect was last seen in the area of Brightwell Dr. & Flora Av.

On 7/29/20, after 9 p.m., unknown suspect(s) stole 3 bicycles from the Lazy Days RV resort, 6210 Highway 579 in Seffner. Bike #1, Nordco Scene, bright yellow. Bike #2, Giant Lafree, grey with black fenders, black saddlebag. Bike #3, Huffy, 21 speed, bright green. The bicycles are valued at approx. $3000.00.

On August 1, 2020 at approx. 4:08 a.m., two unknown black males entered the Circle K located at 12834 State Road 52 in New Port Richey.  The suspects implied they had a weapon while demands were made to the clerk. The suspects fled in a silver 4-door vehicle, possibly a Ford or Toyota, westbound on State Road 52.

Between 8:40 p.m. on July 30, and 8:30 a.m. on August 1, 2020 unknown suspect(s) broke into the Thonotosassa Football Complex at 10115 Main Street. The padlock was cut to gain entry into the building. The suspect(s) stole 25 shoulder pads and 10 football helmets valued at approx. $2500.00.

HCSO Detectives Investigate Early Morning Shooting

On August 2, 2020 at 4:00 a.m, a shooting occured at the Cheveron Gas Station at 6812 N. 56th Street. Approx. 250 people were gathered when multiple people began shooting after a fight. Three victims were injured and transported to the hospital.

TPD Detectives Search for Bicycle Thief

On July 26, 2020 between 7:15 pm - 7:40 pm, an unknown black male entered the victim's property in the 700 block of E. Robson St. in Tampa by jumping over the fence. Once inside the yard, the suspect took a red mountain bicycle valued at $300 then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
