HCSO Detectives Ask for Information in Fire Investigation

Just after 3:05 p.m. at 6221 16th Avenue South in Tampa, 3 deceased persons were found inside the residence after Hillsborough County Fire Rescue put out a fire at the home.  Foul play is suspected.  Detectives are looking for the subjects who were seen in a silver, 4-door sedan, sunroof with no tinted windows.  The vehicle is similar to a 2008 Infiniti M35.  An unknown suspect can be seen on video approaching the home with a gas canister in his hand before he leaves in the sedan.

TPD Detectives Work to ID Female Using Stolen Credit Cards

STATUS: OPEN
On October 17, 2018 at 8:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered 3 unlocked vehicles at 5109 Platt Street West in Tampa.  A wallet containing credit cards was taken from one of the vehicles.  On October 18, 2018 at 6:00 a.m., an unknown white female attempted to use a stolen credit card at the Walgreens located at 4651 Kennedy Boulevard West.  Later at 11:23 a.m., the same or another female went to the Speedway at 6332 Dale Mabry Highway North and attempted to use a different stolen credit card to purchase gift cards.  Store surveillance photos captured the female(s) in both transactions.

Temple Terrace PD Detectives Work to Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

On October 29, 2018 just before 12:55 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the Regions Bank located at 10904 North 56th Street in Temple Terrace.  The suspect approached a teller and demanded cash.  After receiving cash, the suspect fled the bank.  The suspect was described as a possible Hispanic male, approximately 5’6”-5'-7”, thin build and was wearing a white Tampa Bay Rays baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a dark colored jacket with a dark colored t-shirt underneath and black gloves.

HCSO Detectives Search for Brandon Bank Robbery Suspect Wearing Orange Vest

STATUS: OPEN
On October 22, 2018 at 12:02 p.m., an unknown black male entered the MidFlorida Credit Union located at 825 Brandon Boulevard West and handed the teller a note demanding money while displaying a firearm.  After receiving the cash, the suspect fled out the front doors, running in a southwest direction where he climbed over a fence.  The suspect is described as a black male, late 20's, 5'09", thin, wearing a white t-shirt with an orange safety vest, green cargo pants, black boots with gold detail and a dreadlocks wig.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Suspect Who May Be Responsible for Several Residential Burglaries

Detectives are working to identify a suspect who they believe could be responsible for committing several residential burglaries in the Carrollwood area between North Dale Mabry Highway, north of Linebaugh Avenue and south of Fletcher Avenue.  The burglaries stem as far back as December 2017 and have recently occurred in New Tampa.  The suspects appear to be targeting jewelry. 
 
Surveillance cameras captured a photo of a suspect as he turned the handle to the residence at 4428 Golf Club Lane on February 12, 2018.  The suspect is believed to be 20-30 yoa, 5'08"-5'11", 160-190 lbs., dark hair and has a partial beard.  He is wearing a long-sleeve hooded sweatshirt, pants, Air Jordan cap and black/white gloves.  The gloves may be unique.

TPD Detectives Ask for Information on Trio of Laundromat Looters

STATUS: OPEN
A trio of suspects are targeting laundromats in several jurisdictions.  On August 7, 2018 at 2 a.m., the suspects entered the Coin Laundry at 122 Bougainvillea Avenue West and at 2:28 a.m. they went inside the Coin Wash 24 located at 8923 North Boulevard in Tampa.  In both cases, the suspects hid a crow bar inside a laundry basket then used it to pry open the office doors.  The fled the scene without taking cash or property in both burglaries.
 
The trio of suspects are a white male, approximately 5'9", approximately 170 lbs., medium length black hair and eyeglasses.  The second suspect is a white male, approximately 6'2", 190 lbs., low cut black hair, full sleeve tattoos on both arms, wearing a black short sleeve shirt, dark colored shorts, black sneakers and the third suspect is a white female, approximately 5'2", 170 lbs., dark brown hair, wearing a black shirt, blue jean shorts and pink sneakers.
 
Detectives believe the "Laundromat Looters" are responsible for at least 5 burglaries along the I-4 corridor in Hillsborough, Orange and Sumter Counties.

TPD Detectives Search for Trio Using Distraction Technique to Steal Wallet

On September 3, 2018 a male and two females used a distraction technique while at the Home Goods in New Tampa in order to take an elderly female's wallet from her purse.  The two female suspects then went to the Best Buy nearby at 18017 Highwoods Preserve Parkway and purchased electronics with the stolen credit cards.

PCPD Detectives Ask for Information on Suspect Robbing Walgreens Stores

STATUS: OPEN
On August 31, 2018 at 6:21 a.m., an unknown black male entered the Walgreens located at 2102 Baker Street West in Plant City.  He selects a bottle of water and hands the clerk a $1 bill to pay for the item.  While the cash register drawer is open, the suspect reaches over the counter and attempts to grab the cash from the open drawer.  A struggle ensues with the female clerk, at which time the suspect flees the store with cash.  He entered a small 2-door, dark colored vehicle that was parked across the street, then fled in an unknown direction. 
 
On September 6, 2018 the same suspect did the same thing that he did on August 31, 2018.  Detectives have linked this suspect to similar type robberies at a Walgreens in Temple Terrace on September 1, 2018 and also believe he may be responsible for three cases in the Orlando area in the last 2 weeks.

TPD Detectives Search for Suspects Who Took 33 Pairs of Jeans

On August 2, 2018 three unknown black females entered the Charlotte Russe store in Westshore Mall at 253 Westshore Plaza, grabbed 33 pairs of jeans then left the store without paying for them.  The value of the stolen jeans is approximately $1,113.  The suspects were captured on store surveillance cameras.
