Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of break, enter and theft. 

 

Sometime between 28th August 2021 and 2nd September 2021 unknown suspects attended a residence on Cloudslee Rd, Plummer Additional Township.  

 

Suspects forced their way into the residence through a rear door and removed numerous items with an approximately value of $25,000.00.

Break and Enter to Johnson Township Landfill

Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an incident of break and enter and theft.

Between December 2020 and May 2021 unknown suspects attended the Johnson Township landfill site located on Government Road where suspects damaged the share shed door, the office window and also removed a variety of items which belonged to the employees that work at the landfill site.

  • Water cooler

Sometime between July 8, 2021, and July 12, 2021, unknown suspects attended a remote logging road off of Highway 556 in Jarvis Township where Avery Construction had a bulldozer and a grader. Suspects threw rocks through all the windows in the bulldozer and grader causing extensive damage with an approximate value of $15,000.00.

ATV Theft

Sometime between June 9, 2021 and June 15, 2021 unknown suspects attended 79 Mallard Dr, Johnson Township and removed a 2020 CAN-AM Renegade 1000 black in color with Ontario marker ONL27.  This ATV has a unique decorative plate on the front of the ATV which is painted fluorescent green.  Approximate value of the ATV is $25,000.

The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, a black hat that reads, “I Love Haters!. The suspect also has several tattoos and was carrying a black backpack.

Theft of Sea-Doo

On May 27, 2021, shortly after midnight, two suspects stole a Sea-Doo and trailer from a business in the area of White Oak Drive and Sackville. The Sea-Doo is a 2001 GTXDI, BRP, blue and silver in colour. The Sea-Doo and trailer combined is a loss of approximately $5000. 

Suspect one is described as a male and is dressed in all black. Suspect two is described as male, wearing a white scarf, grey jacket, black hat, and jeans. The suspect vehicle is described as a grey extended cab truck.

Several Windows Damaged Downtown

Pontoon Boat Stolen From Storage

Sometime between October 13, 2020, and May 17, 2021, unknown suspects attended Loonie Toons Pontoons and Powersports located on Highway 17 in Johnson Township and removed a 2007 18ft Apex Qwest pontoon boat, 40hp Mercury outboard motor and 2007 Genesis trailer with Ontario marker T5463M which was being stored for the winter.  

Approximate value of the pontoon boat is $17,000.

Break and Enter to Blind River Town Hall

Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of break, enter and theft.

Sometime between the evening of May 12, 2021, and the morning of May 13, 2021, an unknown suspect attended 11 Hudson Street in Blind River at the rear of the Municipal Town Hall. The suspect moved a picnic table closer to the window and smashed the window on the southeast corner of the building, which is the Mayor’s office. Once the window was broken, the suspect reached through the window and removed a black Dell laptop worth approximately $2350.

On April 19, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the City Landfill and stole a Kubota RTV that was parked outside. 

The suspect drove the Kubota through the gates breaking the chains off and causing some damage. The suspect drove the Kubota down the power line until it got stuck. The Kubota was recovered with significant damage.
