Two New Trucks Stolen From Central El Paso Car Dealership

 

 EL PASO, TEXAS – A man steals two trucks with a total value of more than sixty-eight thousand dollars from a Central El Paso auto dealership. Security cameras recorded the suspect. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this auto thief through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.”

 

On the early morning of Saturday, August 22, 2020, just after 2 A.M., a man walked the dealership of the Dick Poe Toyota, located at 6330 Montana. The suspect began to check doors to multiple vehicles at the dealership. The man found two trucks that were unlocked and also found the keys to those vehicles. The suspect drove the first vehicle, a white, 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD or TSS with black rims off of the lot. The suspect exited the dealership by driving over the landscaping. The car thief drove north on Isha Street and then turned west on Airport Road. At 4:53 A.M., the suspect returned for the second vehicle, a white 2020 Toyota Tundra extended cab work truck with a long bed. The thief again exited the dealership through the landscaping, but this time turned west on Montana. The suspect is a white or Hispanic male, with an average build. He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a tee-shirt with the phrase “Hope Lives” on the front, baggie blue denim jeans, and dark athletic shoes with white soles.

West El Paso Gun Store Is Burglarized

EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men break into a West El Paso gun store, stealing multiple handguns. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying these burglars through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.”
On the early morning of Sunday, August 16, 2020, at 3:23 A.M., two men forced their way into the Sportsman Elite gun store, located at 4520 Doniphan. The men managed to force open a side emergency door. Once inside, the men stole fifteen handguns of various calibers.
 
Both suspects appear to have a light complexion, and the first suspect is approximately 5’6” in height. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a red bandana covering his mouth, a purple tee-shirt, blue denim jeans, athletic shoes, and black gloves. The other suspect was 5’10” in height, was wearing a black and red baseball hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark blue denim jeans, athletic shoes, a white facemask, and was carrying a black backpack. These suspects could be involved in other burglaries.

Woman Steals Laptop Computers From School

EL PASO, TEXAS – A woman steals laptop computers from a central El Paso school.  Security cameras recorded the woman committing the burglary. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help to identify her, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the early morning of Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 1:00 A.M., a woman managed to gain entry into St. Pius X School located at 1007 Geronimo, through a door next to the playground.  Once inside of the woman disconnected various network connections to the school and took five laptop computers.  Surveillance video captured the woman walking throughout the school.  The stolen laptops were from the library of the school.

 

Days later, a citizen found the laptops by a home near the school.  The woman is described as a white or Hispanic female, in her 50’s, average build, and has wavy shoulder-length hair.  She was wearing a light-colored blouse, light-colored pants, and sandals.

A Central El Paso Business is Burglarized

EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men burglarized a central El Paso business and surveillance cameras record them.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying these burglars, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the early morning of Friday, July 17, 2020, at 12:32 A.M., two suspects used a large rock to break out the glass to the front door of the Metro PCS store located at 2920 N. Piedras.  The pair made their way inside and stole two blue-tooth speakers.  Both of the suspects are believed to be in their 20’s, White or Hispanic, and have a thin to average build.  

 

One of the suspects was wearing a white bandana on his head, a blue bandana covering his face, a blue long-sleeved t-shirt with the writing “Just Do It,” dark pants, and dark athletic shoes.  The other suspect was thinner and wearing a black hooded jacket, a black facemask, blue denim jeans, and black athletic shoes.

A Woman Is Attacked During An Attempted Carjacking (SOLVED)

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man attacks a woman as she is trying to get into her car outside of a Mission Valley convenience store.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this attempted carjacker, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the morning of Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 8:59 A.M., a woman exited the Seven-Eleven Store, located at 9370 North Loop.  The woman walked to her car, and a man attacked her as she opened the door. The man pulled the victim’s hair and pushed her to side.  The suspect attempted to take the keys away to steal the car.  Witnesses ran to the woman’s help, and the suspect fled the scene.  The suspect is a Hispanic male, in his middle 30’s, 5’8” in height, thin build, and has a light complexion.  He was wearing a black colored t-shirt, and black and white exercise pants.

A Mission Valley Business Is Robbed At Gunpoint

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man holds up a Mission Valley business at gunpoint. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this armed robber, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the evening of Monday, July 6, 2020, at 7:30 P.M., a man walked into the Nacionalización y Fronterización De Autos, a business located at 7945 Alameda.  The suspect was acting as a possible customer and left after a short time.  The suspect soon returned and forced his way into the business.  The suspect threatened the employee with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect stole the employee’s purse and looked for money by rummaging through the business.

 

The suspect fled the scene in a dark red, 4-door car, believed to be a Toyota.  The man is a Hispanic male, in his middle 40’s, with a heavy build.  The man was wearing a gray and black baseball cap, a light blue long-sleeved tee-shirt, black denim jeans, and black athletic shoes.

EL PASO, TEXAS – An east El Paso beauty supply business is burglarized.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying those involved, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the early morning of Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 1:47 A.M., a person went to the Sally Beauty Supply at 10501 Gateway West.  The suspect broke the front glass door to the business with a tire iron. The suspect made their way inside and stole several different hair clippers totaling more than 700 dollars.  Investigators found a video that recorded a light-colored mini-van leaving the area immediately after the burglary.

Man Shoots Gun In Parking Lot Of Eastside Bar

EL PASO, TEXAS – A fight ends with someone firing a gun outside of an east El Paso bar. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help identifying the people involved, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the early morning of Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 1:35 A.M., a fight between two groups escalates in the parking lot of the Werk bar, located at 1441 N. Zaragoza.  Video taken by witnesses, captured one man pulling out a handgun, and pulling the slide back on the weapon.  Another portion of the video shows another man, who also appears to be holding a handgun.  At 1:40 A.M., several people called 911 to report hearing multiple shots. According to one witness, one of the men fired the gun in the air from a car.  The man firing the gun was a black male, who was wearing a white tank top style tee-shirt.  The vehicle is a dark-colored Subaru or Nissan.

Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit And Run Crash

EL PASO, TEXAS – A driver flees the scene of a crash after striking a pedestrian on a crosswalk.    Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in finding the driver involved in hitting this man, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the afternoon of Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 3:50 P.M., a 39-year old man was crossing the 700 block of Yarbrough at the intersection of Esther Rd.  The man was using a crosswalk and was walking from west to east.  As he crossed, the driver of a white car going south on Yarbrough struck the victim and fled.  The driver continued driving south on Yarbrough at a high rate of speed.  The victim went to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.  The vehicle involved is a white, 2-door vehicle similar to an Acura CL-2.

Assistance Needed In Identifying Couple In Stolen Car

EL PASO, TEXAS – A couple is captured on video using a stolen car.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department continues to ask for help in identifying the couple, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Friday, May 29, 2020, a silver, 2005 Pontiac Grand AM was stolen from the parking lot of the Food King located at 9480 Viscount.  The theft took place overnight.  On the evening of Friday, June 19, 2020, the vehicle was located at 9100 Socorro Rd. in a parking lot at the Speaking Rock.  Investigators found that a couple was driving the car and the vehicle broke down.  Video captured the two and investigators ask for help in learning who they are.

Man Holds Up At Least Three Businesses At Gun Point
June 12, 2020

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man holds up at least three businesses at gunpoint in Northeast El Paso. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this armed robber, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the night of Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 11:45 P.M., a man walked into a northeast bar called The Bar at 10310 McCombs.  The suspect threatened the employee with a handgun and demanded money.  Two days later on June 5, 2020, at 11:30 P.M., the suspect held up a Food truck at 9430 McCombs.  The man threatened the employee of the food truck with a gun, demanded money from the business, and the keys to the vehicle of one of the employees, a white 2008 Jeep Commander.  The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The latest robbery was on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at 3:50 A.M., at the Seven-Eleven store located at 4525 Sun Valley.

 

The man threatened the store clerk with a handgun and demanded money and Newport Cigarettes. The suspect is a Hispanic male, in his 30’s, speaks Spanish, may have long hair, average build, and has a visible limp.

Man Seriously Injured In Hit & Run Crash

EL PASO, TEXAS – A pedestrian is seriously injured by a hit and run driver in east El Paso.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in finding the driver involved, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On the night of Monday, April 13, 2020, at 11:00 P.M., 44-year old, Luis Francisco Ornelas was crossing Lee Trevino near Pebble Hills.  Ornelas was crossing from the east curb to the west curb.  As he was on the southbound lanes of Lee Trevino, a vehicle traveling in the center lane struck him.  The driver of the car fled the scene.  The vehicle involved is a white car and will have damage to the front bumper and hood.

Man Killed By Driver That Fled Scene of Crash

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man dies at the hands of a driver that fled the scene of a crash in Northeast El Paso.   Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in finding the driver involved, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Friday, March 6, 2020, at 6:42 P.M., 41-year old, William Eric Munoz, was walking on the 11000 block of Dyer.  Munoz was walking in the middle of the southbound traffic lane of Dyer.  As he was walking, a vehicle that was traveling south on Dyer, struck Munoz fatally injuring him.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop and attempt to help Munoz.  The driver continued southbound on Dyer.  The vehicle is a silver or light-colored car.  The vehicle should have damage to the hood and windshield.

Man Burglarizes Northeast Movie Theater

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man managed to make his way into a closed movie theater, causing damage inside of the theater and stealing various items. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this burglar, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 5:38 P.M., an unidentified man managed to force his way into the AMC-16 Cinema, located at 9840 Gateway North. The theater temporarily closed since March due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The man once inside damaged various electronic equipment and printers.  The man also consumed various food items from the business.  The man stayed inside the closed business for more than an hour. The man is a White or Hispanic male, in his 20’s, and wears prescription eyeglasses. The suspect was carrying a skateboard inside of the business.  Investigators believe he may frequent the area.

Two Teens Responsible For Series of Thefts

EL PASO, TEXAS – Two teenaged men are responsible for a series of thefts at a Mission Valley convenience store.  Security video captured the pair in the act. Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying them, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

The thefts were at the Circle K located at 7800 Gateway East.  In all three cases, the pair steals several three-packs of Budweiser and Bud Light beer.  The first theft took place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at 3:30 A.M.  The next theft was on Thursday, May 7, 2020, @ 3:48 A.M.  The most recent case was Monday, May 11, 2020, at 9:49 P.M. 

 

In all three cases the suspects were seen running south on Giles towards neighboring apartments. Both suspects are approximately 5’05”, with a thin to medium build,   and are in their late teens.  One of the suspects is a Hispanic male, and the other is a Black male.

Central El Paso Store Burglarized Twice By Same Suspects

EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men burglarized a Central El Paso business twice.  Security video recorded the pair, and Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying them, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

The burglaries were at the Sally Beauty Supply located at 5640 Montana.  The first burglary was on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 3:05 A.M. Just a little more than a week later, on Friday, May 1, 2020, at 4:05 A.M., the store burglarized for a second time.  Detectives found that the same two men are involved in the burglaries.  One of the men acts as a look our while the other breaks the glass and makes his way into the business.  In both of the cases, the suspects stole hair clippers.

 

The suspects are white or Hispanic men, in their 20’s, with a thin to average build. One of the suspects was wearing a white hood on his head, a black facemask, a black long-sleeved tee-shirt, black pants, and white athletic shoes.  The other was wearing a blue hood on his head, a black short sleeve tee shirt with a cartoon image in the front, black pants, and athletic shoes.

EL PASO, TEXAS – A man photographs women improperly under their dress without their knowledge at an East El Paso store.  Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this peeping tom, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 7:21 P.M., a man was walking inside of the Target Store located at 1874 Joe Battle.  The man went toward the Women’s section of the store and followed unsuspecting women as they shopped. The man then would attempt to take a picture under their dress.

 

The man was seeing on surveillance video by store security and one of the victims was a 19-year old female. The suspect is white or Hispanic, in his middle 30’s, average build, hazel colored eyes, and acne scars on the face.  He was wearing a black cap, a black face covering, black tee-shirt, blue denim jeans, and brown shoes.

Two Men Rob Convenience Store At Gun Point

EL PASO, TEXAS – Two men hold up a convenience store at gunpoint in East-Central El Paso. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department need your help to identify these armed robbers, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of the Week.”

On the early morning of Tuesday, February 25, 2020, two men walked into the Seven-Eleven Store located at 6360 Airport Rd.  The men approached the store employee, and one of the men pulled out a handgun.  The men demanded money from the business and forced the employee to open the cash register.  The men fled the scene with a small undisclosed amount of money, several boxes of  Marlboro Cigarettes, Swisher Sweets Cigars, a flashlight, and several Resse’s Candy Bars.  The men fled towards the back of the business and went through the attached car wash. Investigators located a video of the suspected vehicle that was fleeing the scene.  The vehicle appears to be a hatchback or S.U.V.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men, 20 to 30 years of age, with an average build. The first suspect was wearing a brown hat covering his face, a brown jacket, and dark-colored jeans. The second suspect was wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark-colored jeans, and a white bandana covering his face.

Store Burglarized On Easter Sunday

EL PASO, TEXAS – A burglar breaks into a Mission Valley business on Easter Sunday.  Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for help in identifying this suspect, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Sunday, April 12, 2020, at 7:32 P.M., a person went up the front door of the Family Dollar Store located at 7369 Alameda.  This person began to kick the glass front door and took a large rock to shatter the door. The suspect made their way into the closed store and began to take several electronic items.  The suspect stole several wireless speakers and headphones.   The burglar is Hispanic, believed to be a male, with a large build, in his late 30’s or early 40’s, with a medium complexion and thin eyebrows. The suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark colored denim jeans, and a medical mask.

EL PASO, TEXAS – A 71-year old man is violently beat as he opened his business for the day.   Detectives from the El Paso Police Department ask for help in identifying the violent attacker, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” 

 

On Monday, March 24, 2020, at 7:04 A.M., a 71-year old man was opening his business, Sun City Woodworks, at 1816 Myrtle.  As the man was opening the door, the suspect came from behind the man and began to beat him on the head with brass knuckles.  The man attempted to defend himself but was unable to overcome the attack.  The suspect took money from the man and his cellular phone.  The man involved in this violent robbery is a Hispanic, 25 to 30 years of age, 5’11” in height, approximately 200 lbs., and has a light complexion.  He was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a red bandana, dark-colored denim jeans, and white athletic shoes.
