Investigators advise that an unknown subject(s) in a black sedan quickly pulled up to a utility truck and stole a grease gun and two chainsaws from the truck. The suspect vehicle came from the direction of Bullock County on Highway 110 and headed back in that same direction.

 

 

The offense occurred on November 25, 2020 between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. Investigators released photos and video of the incident.

The Andalusia Police Department is currently searching for two suspects, Courtney Lee Porter and Tyquise Jamal Jenkins, wanted for Murder.

 

The Andalusia Police Department on Friday, January 8 arrested one of three suspects for whom it has obtained warrants for the November 16, 2020 murder of Micah Spencer Coon.  Brittany Head, 22, of Andalusia was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of Murder and one count of Burglary 1st degree. Head is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $1.15 million dollar bond.

 

Micah Spencer Coon was 26 when he died on November 16, 2020. Andalusia Police found Coon unresponsive as a result of a gunshot wound when they responded to a report of a shooting.

 

Andalusia Police has warrants for the arrest of Courtney Lee Porter, 29, and Tyquise Jamal Jenkins, 22, on charges of Murder and Burglary 1st degree.

 

Police Chief Paul Hudson said the case remains an active APD investigation.

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Montgomery Police Patrol units responded to the river bridge at U.S. Highway 31 and Birmingham Highway regarding a body located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as Joshua Thompson and was pronounced deceased on the scene. Throughout the investigation, detectives determined that the victim was killed in a different location and discarded at the current location.

 

Evidence led to a Murder warrant secured against Pierre Woods DOB: 02/14/1993. The Montgomery Police Department is seeking assistance from the public regarding the location of this suspect.

The Auburn Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a suspect has been identified and is in custody.  

On December 29, 2020, Auburn Police Division Officers with assistance from the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and the Phenix City Police Department, arrested Detorrance Jakell Tolbert, age 24, from Auburn, Alabama, on felony warrants charging him with three counts of Robbery 1st Degree.

 

An anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers helped to identify Detorrance Jakell Tolbert as the offender. Tolbert was arrested in Phenix City, Alabama, and later transported to the Lee County Jail.  Tolbert’s bond is set at $300,000 and he is charged with three Class A Felonies each carrying a possible sentence of life in prison.

The Auburn Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a male wanted for multiple counts of Armed Robbery. 

 

Between 7:40 pm, December 25, 2020 and 8:40 pm, December 26, 2020 Auburn Police responded to three robbery calls. The incidents occurred at businesses located in the 1900 Block of East Glenn, 1700 Block of Opelika Road, and the 1400 Block of Opelika Road and appeared to be committed by the same offender.   

 

Responding officers were given the description of a thin black male, between 25 – 35 years of age.  He was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket, black tennis shoes, and a red vest. The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a white truck.

 

During the incidents, the suspect entered the establishment with a handgun, and demanded money before fleeing the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.  No injuries were reported. The case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division.

The Tallassee Police Department is currently seeking the identity of two males wanted for Armed Robbery. 

 

On 12/18/2020 at approximately 5:30 p.m. two armed males entered the Title Cash business, located at 904-A Gilmer Avenue Tallassee, AL. Upon entry of the business, an employee was held at gunpoint by one of the suspects while the other suspect searched the business. The suspects were able to collect an undisclosed amount of money and the employee’s car keys. Both suspects then fled from the business in the employee’s vehicle. The vehicle has since been located and is in the custody of the Tallassee Police Department at this time.

 

One suspect is described as being a black male,  approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin/skinny build and is possibly in his mid to late 20’s, the second suspect is believed to be a black male who stands between 5’8 and 5’10 and is believed to be in mid to late 20’s as well, with a muscular/athletic build.

Upon leaving the business the suspects fled westbound towards Selma AL. At this time warrants are pending identification of the suspects.

On Sunday morning, November 29, 2020, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the body of Matthew Misquistian Patton, age 35, of Valley, was found in a ditch off King Road near Fob James Drive. Examination of the body revealed that Patton had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

 

Valley Investigators advise that Patton was last seen walking away from Jet Pep on Fob James Drive (I-85 Exit 77) at approximately 3:30 a.m. the morning of his death.  Valley Police released a photo of the victim hoping it will lead to more information involving his death.

Investigators advise that 37-year-old Thomas Christopher Smith was taken into custody on today’s date (December 17, 2020) by the Montgomery Police Department and the United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. The other suspect, 71-year-old Larry Raymond Jordan, was taken into custody, also on today, by the Prattville Police Department.  No details were available concerning the location or times of arrests.

 

Thomas Christopher Smith and Larry Raymond Jordan have been charged with Burglary and Theft of Property by the Prattville Police Department. Both suspects are facing multiple charges from other law enforcement jurisdictions.

The Millbrook Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers of one suspect being identified and captured that was involved in the armed robbery of a victim’s X-Box gaming console in a shopping center parking lot.

 

Investigators advise that an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers identified Montgomery resident Archie Alexander-Green (19 yoa) as a suspect.  Through the course of the investigation, Green was identified as the offender and taken into custody on December 9, 2020 without incident.

Archie Alexander-Green was charged with Robbery 1st degree and is being held at the Elmore County Detention Facility.

On November 10, 2020, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Millbrook Police Department responded to a report of a Robbery in the Wal-Mart parking lot located at 145 Kelley Blvd, Millbrook Alabama.

 

The Victim stated that a Blue Ford Explorer possibly a mid to late 2000’s model, with light colored trim, occupied by two Unknown black males, followed him from Target located at the Shops at Eastchase in Montgomery. While in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Millbrook, the victim stated that two unknown males exited the vehicle and approached him. The driver then hit the victim over the head and brandished a pistol. The Offender then stole a new X-Box from the victim and fled the area prior to Officer’s arrival.

The Wetumpka Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a suspect has been identified and arrested that was involved in a September burglary that occurred at a storage rental facility.

 

Wetumpka Investigators updated CrimeStoppers that a tip received in October 2020 in regard to several commercial burglaries/thefts (WPD Case #: W200900034; W200900035; W200900036) from Storage World in Wetumpka, AL led to the arrest of a subject. The CrimeStopper’s tip provided information about the vehicle the suspect was driving with a tag number. This led to the final identification and subsequent arrest of suspect Tron Sutherland.

 

Multiple warrants were obtained for Tron Sutherland in early November and he was arrested on December 8, 2020 by another agency on unrelated charges. Wetumpka Police has placed a hold on Sutherland and arrest warrants will be served after he is released from the other charges.

The Wetumpka Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a storage rental facility.

 

On September 3, 2020, between 01:19 AM and 02:13 AM an unknown suspect(s) entered Storage World located at 749 US Highway 231 Wetumpka, AL 36092 and entered several storage units, stored RV’s, and stored boats, removing items from each. Some of the more notable items stolen include a Fusion amp from a boat, marine stereo, several fishing poles, and a wake board.

 

Camera footage from the area show what appears to be either a gray or light blue SUV crossover (Possibly VW) enter the facility at 01:19 AM and exit at a high rate of speed at 02:13 AM.

 

Wetumpka Investigators are hoping that someone will be able to identify this offender through the released photos.

Montgomery Shoplifter Shoots Back At Employee

The Montgomery Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a male wanted for Armed Robbery. 

 

On Friday November 13, 2020 at approximately 7:10 pm, Montgomery Patrol Units responded to the 0-99 block of West Fairview Avenue in reference to shots fired. Contact was made with the complainant who described an unknown black male wearing all black clothing and a partial mask as the suspect.  The suspect is captured on convenience store surveillance video putting bottles of beer in his waistband. The unknown male then approached the front counter of the convenience store and snatched three (3) Glass Bongs valued at $189.00 each and ran out the store without purchasing the merchandise.

 

The complainant advised that he grabbed his wooden bat and ran out the store in an attempt to retrieve the merchandise, however the unknown male fired one round in the direction of the complainant.  The investigating Officer was able to locate one (1) 9mm spent shell casing and glass particles that appeared to be particles from one of the bongs taken from the store.

 

 

The unknown male was last seen in a black vehicle fleeing the scene towards South Perry Street. There were no injuries sustained by either the complainant or the unknown male during this incident.

Montgomery Armed Robbery

The Montgomery Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a male wanted for Armed Robbery. 

 

On Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at approximately 3:55 am, Montgomery Patrol responded to the 3500 block of Birmingham Highway in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, contact was made with two employees who described the suspect as a black male wearing a red mask with white lettering, black hat, skinny, and a camo jacket.

 

The employee stated the suspect entered and began shopping. One of the employees entered the store from break and observed a cell phone propping the front door open. Several minutes later, the suspect walked out the front door with merchandise without paying for it. One of the employees followed the suspect into the parking lot to get the tag number of the vehicle he was driving. As the employee approached the vehicle, the suspect threatened to shoot her with a firearm. The employee backed away without being harmed.

 

Employees were able to determine (1) explicit dolz spread eagle valued at $300 and (3) adult pumps were stolen from the business. The suspect fled the scene in a silver/grey sedan towards Maxwell Air Force Base.

The United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force has officially notified CrimeStoppers that Ashley Paul Kenney is in Police Custody!

 

Ashley Kenney was taken into custody by officers from the Alexander City Police Department, United States Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office, Russell Land Security, ALEA Water Patrol, and ALEA Aviation. 

 

Kenney was captured in Our Town located in Tallapoosa County Alabama.  First reports indicate that a citizen provided information that led authorities to his location.  A $2,000 reward from CrimeStoppers will be offered once confirmed by Alexander City Police Investigators.

On November 30, 2020 around 11:00 pm Officers with the Alexander City Police Department responded to a disturbance on Oak Hill Drive where they discovered two gunshot victims inside of a residence deceased.

 

Witnesses stated Ashley Paul Kenney fled the scene in a purple Chevy Geo Tracker. There are currently two active warrants for Ashley Paul Kenney.

The Prattville Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a male wanted for Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle. 

 

On December 1, 2020 at approximately 12:36 am, and unknown male suspect made forcible entry into a victim’s vehicle at a hotel located in the 2500 block of Cobbs Ford Road. The suspect was observed driving a dark colored Nissan passenger car. The suspect stole miscellaneous property from the victim’s vehicle.

On November 26, 2020 at approximately 2:00 am, the Union Spring Police Department responded to a call at Club Faces in reference to a shooting which left two people injured and one later died from his injuries.

 

Investigators advise that when they arrived, they found Michael Dewayne Washington with gunshot wounds. Washington later died from his injuries at Bullock County Hospital. Washington was from Midway, Alabama.

 

Union Springs Investigators are requesting assistance from the public with finding any witnesses that observed the shooting at Club Faces.  A photo of Michael Dewayne Washington was provided by the Union Springs Police Department with the hopes that it will help towards the investigation.

On June 6, 2020 at approximately 9:36 PM, Opelika Police responded to the intersection of Talladega Street and Monroe Avenue in reference to an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. Opelika Police arrived on scene and located the victim, 30-year-old Nealious Mario Hodge, lying on the road suffering from a gunshot wound.

 

Mr. Hodge was transported to East Alabama Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The Opelika Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance with providing any information you may have related to the shooting that took the life of Mr. Hodge.

 

The family of Nealious Mario Hodge released his photo to the public in the hopes that someone that is holding on to information will see his photo and call. He was loved by family and friends and they now seek closure.

Daniel currently has two counts of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, 1 count each of Receiving Stolen Property 2nd and 3rd Degree, and his parole is revoked. The Montgomery Police Department needs help with locating this suspect.
