The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Armed Robbery and seeks the public’s help in locating the suspects.

 

Dallas County Investigators released names and photos of two suspects involved in an Armed Robbery. Investigators are actively searching for Lee Anthony Walker Jr. and Quindon Rashad Pernell. A third suspect is already in custody.

 

On 6/27/2022, the victim took Lee Anthony Walker Jr.  to a residence located in Marion Junction, AL. Once they arrived, Lee Walker went into the residence and came out sometime later with Quindon Rashad Pernell and offender #3 (Octavious Blevins). Octavious Blevins placed a gun to the victim's head while Walker and Pernell took unlawful possession of 2 AR-15 rifles, 2 pistols, and one shotgun, from the victim's car. The victim then drove away in his car but took a picture with his phone as he was leaving.

 

Octavious Blevins, offender #3, has been arrested. Lee Anthony Walker Jr. and Quindon Rashad Pernell have Active Robbery 1st Degree warrants through the Dallas County Sheriff's Office. Walker and Pernell are still at large. Offenders are considered Armed and Dangerous!

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at around 1:20 a.m., Patrol Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1400 block of E. Broad Street in Gadsden Alabama.  Upon arrival, Officers were then notified of a victim at a local hospital that had been shot. The victim, identified as Trayvon White of Calhoun County, died from his injuries. Investigators are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The suspect has not been identified.

On July 6, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m. an anonymous caller reached out to CrimeStoppers advising that they had just had contact with Christina Thurman.  CrimeStoppers was able to confirm that the Montgomery Police Department and U.S. Marshals were enroute to their location.  The caller stayed on the line keeping Thurman in sight until two Montgomery Patrol Units arrived placing her in custody.  Thurman was taken into custody in a parking lot located off I-65 in Hope Hull, Alabama. The caller is being offered a reward from CrimeStoppers.

On Sunday, June 28, 2020, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Montgomery Police Patrol units responded to the 5900 Block of Oakleigh Road regarding a subject suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as Keshon Gardner and was pronounced deceased on the scene. Detectives later discovered that the vehicle used during the Murder of Gardner is a newer white model Ford Fusion with dark tinted windows.

 

Montgomery City Councilman Oronde K. Mitchell is offering a $2,500 reward to match Central Alabama Crimestoppers increase of $1,000 to a $2,500 reward to be paid for any information that leads to an arrest.  This brings the reward total to $5,000.

The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has officially notified CrimeStoppers of the arrest of Fugitive Patrick Bass. He is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement.

Members of the Fugitive Task Force took Patrick Bass into custody on June 15, 2022. An anonymous tip from CrimeStoppers led authorities to the location of Bass in Montgomery, AL.  He was taken into custody by Task Force Members.  He was then transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility.  

 

Patrick Bass was charged with Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 3 counts of Possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, and Possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.  At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of close to $60,000 worth of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana.

Rickey Mitchell was wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of Robbery 1st degree.

The Opelika Police Department is investigating Robbery and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

 

On 06/03/2022, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a report of a robbery which occurred at Big Cat, located at 3700 Pepperell Parkway. Over the next 5 days, three more robberies were reported at residences in the area. The incidents involved multiple black males who were armed with rifles or pistols. A victim described one of the suspects as being a black male with short facial hair and was wearing a black beanie.

 

One suspect vehicle is described as a red minivan, and another is a dark colored SUV.
