Prattville Police Investigators originally released photos of unknown suspects wanted for a felony theft investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred on September 24, 2024, at a business in the 900 block of South Memorial Drive, Prattville, AL.

 

Investigators say the pictured suspects, identified as two black males, stole multiple tobacco products valued at approximately over $500.00. The suspects concealed the items and left the business in an unknown direction.

 

Both suspects were wanted for theft of property 3rd degree, which is a Class D felony.

 

Investigators say thanks to an anonymous tip, the suspect seen wearing a blue shirt was identified and is no longer being sought by law enforcement. Investigators say the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The victim was identified as Marquaries Williams, 34, of Montgomery, Alabama.
