Investigators say on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at about 12:45 a.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 1000 block of West South Boulevard in reference to a subject shot. There, units located the victim who sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim was identified as Hector Bamaca Yoc, 21, of Montgomery

Investigators have released photographs of two suspects who police say attempted to rob the victim and fatally shot him. The suspects fled the scene on foot. No other details are available for release at this time.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting and seeks the public’s help in obtaining information in the investigation.

 

On July 7, 2024, around 3:00 a.m. deputies responded to Vaughn Regional Medical Center located in Selma, Alabama, in reference to two victims being treated for gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, police located an adult male victim who sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the ER. The victim was identified as Jeremy “Chop” Deuntae Bryant, 19. An additional victim, identified as an adult male, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was receiving treatment by medical staff.

Investigators say the fatal shooting occurred at 2:40 a.m. on the same date at Shop Boyz Lounge located at 3901 County Road 33, Orrville, Alabama.

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a June 24, 2024, homicide and is requesting the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect. Investigators are asking anyone with details or information to please come forward.

 

Investigators say on Monday, June 24, 2024, at about 7:15 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 3400 block of Woodley Road in reference to a subject shot. Holloway Vason, 67, of Montgomery sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was subsequently pronounced deceased on June 27, 2024.

 

Investigators released a photo of a suspect involved in the shooting. Police ask anyone who can identify the suspect to please contact CrimeStoppers. Police say a total of three males, all wearing ski masks are believed to be involved. The suspects fled on foot into the neighborhood of Woodley Park after the shooting.

Investigators say the suspect, identified as a black male, is seen on surveillance video arriving in a gray Chevrolet Silverado 1500, bypassing the point of sale, and stealing hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel. The truck is a 2022-2024 model with chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome door handles, and a chrome step running board. The vehicle may be modified to hold several hundred gallons of fuel. The suspect appears to be approximately 5-foot-8 to 6-foot with a medium build. There are no other details available for release at this time.
