The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a felony theft and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Investigators say on Thursday, April 13, 2023, during the evening an unknown subject drove onto Whittle Farms, located on Pineapple Highway in Butler County, the suspect exited their vehicle and stole a trailer and multiple items.
Investigators stay the unknown suspect stole a 16' Utility trailer with 2 axles, a hydraulic jack, an air compressor, several oxygen & acetylene tanks, torch & hoses, an older model Chainsaw, a 300' welding lead, fishing rods & reels with a tackle box, batteries, battery charger, a yellow generator, and 100 Gallons of gasoline.
The utility trailer was recovered by law enforcement in Wilcox County. Investigators say the suspect was seen on video captured in the area where the trailer was dumped. The suspect attempted to sell the stolen fishing rod to residents of the area. Photos of the vehicle and suspect are being released by investigators. There are no other details available for release at this time.

The Prattville Police Department is seeking information regarding a felony retail theft and criminal mischief investigation.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown subject wanted for A theft of property investigation. On Saturday, April 8, 2023, at A&J Car Wash, located at 501 E. Main Street, Prattville, Alabama. Investigators say the pictured suspect, described as a black male, wearing a red shirt, red hat, red and white shorts, and brown shoes, was caught on camera committing criminal acts to the property.
Investigators say the suspect is seen on camera driving a maroon in color, Chevy, Impala, a mid-2000s model, with silver rims. Investigators say the suspect exited his vehicle and damaged the facility’s coin machine and the coin dispenser for the vacuum cleaner, stealing approximately $450.00 in currency. The suspect left the scene. There are no other details available for release at this time.

The Rainbow Police Department is investigating two Theft of Property 2nd Degree cases and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
Rainbow City Police Investigators released a photo of two unknown subjects wanted for two felony thefts. The offenses occurred, on March 20, 2023, at around 4:30 a.m. and on March 25, 2023, at around 2:00 a.m. at a business located in the 200 block of Watts Parkway, Rainbow City, AL.
Investigators say the suspects, two adult males, were seen on video stealing property that exceed $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 in value. The suspects were possibly seen leaving the scene in a Dodge, Durango, 2004-2009 model, maroon in color. The vehicle appeared to have a spare tire on the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle left in an unknown direction of travel. There are no other details available for release at this time.
The suspects are wanted for two counts of Theft of Property 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.

On 03/22/2023, the Opelika Police Department began investigating an Identity Theft and Theft of Property, First Degree, which occurred at Beshears Tractor and Equipment, located at 1809 Columbus Parkway.
The business was contacted via telephone by a female identifying themselves as “Tamara Johnson” regarding purchasing multiple mowers. Johnson was initially approved for a loan. Four suspects occupying a white truck, picked up two mowers on 03/21/2023. Beshears Tractor and Equipment was later notified that Johnson was denied the loan due to fraud.
Surveillance video shows two of the four suspects who picked up the mowers along with a white Dodge Ram truck without a tag. The first suspect, is described as a black female with short red hair, seen wearing a white shirt and black and white pants. The second suspect, described as a black male, is seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and sneakers.
