On Monday, July 18, 2022, CrimeStoppers received a call from a person advising that he was the person displayed in a photo from a CrimeStopper’s segment as a suspect and wanted to turn himself in to clear his name. He was given instructions on how to turn himself in and who to contact.

 

On July 18, 2022, Montgomery Police Public Relations Officer Captain Saba Coleman stated, “The subject was identified and responded to the Criminal Investigation Division (C.I.D.) for questioning. He was found to have no relation to the crime.”

 

Montgomery Police Investigators say that on Thursday, July 14, 2022, between the hours of 3:45 a.m. and 6:13 a.m., some unknown subject(s) made unforced entry into a vehicle located in the 600 block of Hubbard Street. Once inside, they stole assorted property. The victim’s credit/debit card was unsuccessfully used at a business located in the 2000 Block of E. South Boulevard. 

 

This case is still under investigation.

Montgomery Police Investigators released photos of a suspect involved in the Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. Investigators say that on Thursday, July 14, 2022, between the hours of 3:45 a.m. and 6:13 a.m., some unknown subject(s) made unforced entry into a vehicle located in the 600 block of Hubbard Street. Once inside, they stole assorted property. The pictured subject then went to the 2000 Block of E. South Boulevard and attempted to use the victim’s identity (credit/debit card) for personal gain.

The Prattville Police Department is investigating Theft and seeks the public’s help in identifying two suspects.

 

On May 3, 2022, Officers responded to 2475 Pinnacle Way, Belk, in reference to theft. Upon arrival Officers met with members of Loss Prevention who stated that on April, 28, 2022 an unidentified black male (suspect) and an unidentified white female (suspect) left the business with two shopping carts containing unpaid merchandise. The suspects proceeded past the last point of purchase without paying for the items. Total value of stolen property is $681.50. 

 

Both suspects left together in a red Ford Fusion with a “2nd Chance Auto Sales” drive off tag.

Investigators say that the male subjects seen in the pictures are wanted for Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle (13A-8-11(b)). These subjects entered the Sunshine Village Area on 8 July 2022 around 12:40 a.m. and burglarized several vehicles in the area.

On 07/04/2022, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, Third Degree, which occurred at Kroger, located at 2460 Enterprise Drive. At approximately 11:30 a.m. two females entered the store and proceeded to remove a wallet from the victim’s purse while the victim was distracted. The first suspect, described as a white female with long reddish hair, is seen wearing a black t-shirt, jean shorts, and black sneakers. The second suspect, described as a white female with blonde hair, is seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, black leggings, and tennis shoes.

 

The suspects then attempted to make purchases at Best Buy, and at businesses in Auburn, AL, using the victim’s stolen debit card.
