The Opelika Police Department is investigating theft and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

 

On 05/06/2022, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a report of a Theft of Property, Third Degree, which occurred at Walmart, located at 2900 Pepperell Parkway. At approximately 1:30 p.m. on 05/04/2022, two females attempted to purchase gift cards and bottled water at one of the self-checkout registers. The suspects left without paying for the items and the next customer used the register and paid, before realizing the total amount.

 

Surveillance video shows one suspect, with medium length brown hair, wearing a gray top, dark shorts, and appears to have a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist. The second suspect has blonde highlights and appears to be wearing a light-colored hoodie and dark leggings. They were last seen leaving the business in a white SUV.

Prattville Investigators say that on 05/28/2022 the pictured female used a stolen credit card at the Prattville Walmart at 1:10pm. The female then leaves in a Nissan Rogue with no tag displayed.

 

The victim’s vehicle was parked at the YMCA on McQueen Smith at the time her vehicle had been unlawfully entered. The victim’s credit card was taken during the break-in.

The Prattville Police Department is investigating Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

 

On April 23, 2022, Prattville Police responded to Launch Trampoline (Prattville) in reference to a B&E of a pickup truck. The suspect was described as a black male subject wearing a white T-shirt, red shorts, and white shoes. Photos released by investigators capture the subject going into the toolbox located on the back of a pickup truck and taking a bag full of tools.

 

Another unknown subject driving a gray van (Dodge) with damage on the left rear side of the vehicle was seen picking the suspect up and leaving the area. Attached is a picture of the suspect and the van.

On 04/08/2022, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a report of a Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. At approximately 5:35 p.m. on 04/08/2022, the suspect entered Hobby Lobby, located at 2570 Enterprise Drive, and proceeded to steal a wallet out of a shopping cart. The suspect then used the stolen credit card to purchase several items at Best Buy, located at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway.  Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing a gray hat, glasses, a long-sleeve blue shirt, and jeans entering Hobby Lobby and appears to change into a red hat and light-colored long-sleeve shirt before entering Best Buy.

 

Footage shows the suspect leaving the scene in an unknown black SUV.

The Opelika Police Department is investigating theft and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

 

On 05/10/2022, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, Third Degree, which occurred at Best Buy, located at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway. Surveillance video shows two suspects, both described as black females, enter the store at approximately 10:50 a.m. The suspects then stole approximately $750 worth of security cameras and security doorbells before leaving the scene in an older model black Dodge Charger with a Georgia license plate.

 

The first suspect, is described as an older black female with short black hair, is seen wearing a white t-shirt and a long red and pink striped skirt, carrying a black bag or purse. The second suspect, is described as a younger black female with dark hair in a ponytail, is seen wearing a blue and white bandana, a pink hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

 

It is believed that the suspects live or frequent the Clayton County, Georgia area.

Security camera video shows the suspect, described as a white female with dark red hair, entering the store at approximately 2:06 PM. The suspect is seen carrying several reusable shopping bags and attempting to leave the store with over $970 in merchandise.

 

She left the scene in a dark-color passenger car.
