The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a June 4, 2024, shooting that left three victims dead. Police are requesting the public’s help and are asking anyone with details or information to please come forward.

 

Investigators say on Tuesday evening, June 4, 2024, just before 9:00 p.m., police and medics responded to the 4100 block of Troy Highway, Montgomery, AL, in reference to a shooting. Police located three victims at a local business which has been identified by local media as Tienda Los Hermanos, a local grocery store. Three victims were located on the scene and sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds. Two victims were pronounced deceased on the scene and one other was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

 

The victims were identified by investigators as George Elijah Jr., 50, and Daniel Lopez, 20, who died at the scene. Romero Lopez, 43, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding this violent fatal triple shooting remain under investigation and no other details are available for release at this time. Investigators and family ask anyone who may have seen something or know something to please come forward.

Investigators say the offenses occurred, on May 19, 2024, in the area of Kohls, 1460 Cotton Exchange, Prattville, AL.

Investigators say the pictured suspects, identified as two black females, walked into the business, stole multiple clothing items, and left the business without paying. The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction of travel in the pictured Hyundai, black in color. A short time later, the suspects were located in the area of a local shopping center by law enforcement. A traffic stop was initiated by law enforcement, the suspects refused to stop and fled the scene. While fleeing the scene, the suspects struck multiple vehicles in the parking lot.
