The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that one suspect wanted for theft has been taken into custody while the other still remains unidentified.
Montgomery resident 24-year-old Shymone Laquan Lott was taken into custody on June 24, 2021 by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office after an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers advised of her location. Lott is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement.
Lott was served two felony warrants from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and three felony Theft of Property warrants from the Prattville Police Department. Her accomplice that was aired in the June 25th CrimeStoppers segment has yet to be identified.

The Prattville Police Departments is investigating a theft that occurred at a retail store.
On 06/19/2021 around 5:00 pm, two unknown females entered a retail store located in the 1900 block of Cobbs Ford Road, they selected various merchandise including lotions, sprays, and candles, and then left the store without purchasing the items. They left the area in a black Camaro with an Auburn University license plate. The first three letters described on the tag are GMM. The merchandise taken was over $600.00.
Investigators identified one suspect as Montgomery resident 24-year-old Shymone Laquan Lott. Prattville Investigators are signing Theft of Property warrants against Shymone Lott on today. The other suspect has not yet been identified.
Shymone Lott is urged to turn herself in as soon as possible. Lott is now wanted for Theft of Property and a Montgomery Grand Jury Indictment.

On 06/22/2021 the Opelika Police Department responded to an alarm call at Johnstone Supply, located at 3195 Society Hill Road.
Upon arrival, Officers discovered forced entry into the business. Video surveillance shows the suspect, described as a black male wearing dark pants, a black and blue hoodie, gloves, and a mask, use a large piece of wood to break the glass front door and enter the building. The suspect proceeds to steal approximately $375 from the cash registers.

The suspect, described as a black male, can be seen on camera wearing all white clothing, white shoes and a face mask. The victim stated that the suspect was armed with an unknown type of firearm and stole money from the front desk cash drawer.

The Prattville Police Department is investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred in a community located off of McQueen Smith Road.
The two suspects captured in the still shots and video are wanted by the Prattville Police Department in reference to an Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle investigation that occurred on June 6, 2021 at approximately 10:15 pm.
Investigators retrieved video from a homeowner showing two unknown suspects going into vehicles and pulling on door handles on Abington Street.

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred in the 1500 block of Eastern Boulevard.
The listed vehicle in the still shots is wanted by the Montgomery Police Department in reference to an Unlawful Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle investigation that occurred on May 12, 2021. The offense took place in the 1500 block of Eastern Boulevard.
Investigators advise that the occupant(s) of the vehicle broke into 3 vehicles on May 12th. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2017-2020 black Nissan Rogue. The vehicle appears to have damage on the front passenger and back passenger side doors from an accident. The Nissan also has chrome molding around the windows.

On 05/26/2021 the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, Third Degree, and a Fraudulent Use of a Debit Card which occurred at Lowes, located at 1701 Frederick Road.
The suspect, described as a white male, can be seen on camera wearing a blue Columbia t-shirt and camouflage shorts. He also has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm and what appears to be the University of Georgia logo tattooed on his right forearm.

The suspects involved are wanted for the Theft and Criminal Mischief that occurred on Friday, May 28, 2021, at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the 5700 block of Express Drive. The two suspects were seen on video driving a white 99-07 Ford F350 with a black flatbed when they stole a 16 ft black utility trailer containing a Can-Am Defender XMR (Side by Side). The property's valued at $30,000. The Montgomery Police Department needs assistance with the suspect's identity and location.
