The Prattville Police Departments is investigating a series of shopliftings at the Home Depot located at 2710 Legends Parkway.

 

Investigators advise that the thefts all appear to have the same or similar suspects. All suspects used the same method to steal merchandise. The business reported thefts on April 6th (Theft of Property 3rd), April 18th (Theft of Property 3rd), April 20th (Theft of Property 3rd), and April 29th (Theft of Property 2nd). In all four thefts the suspects load a cart with assorted tools and other merchandise and pushes the cart out of the business without paying.

On 05/14/2021 the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, Second Degree, which occurred at Integrity Auto Service, located at 1007 Geneva Street. The suspects stole catalytic converters off three vehicles between 1:30 AM and 2:30 AM on 05/13/2021.

 

The first suspect described as a white male, can be seen on camera wearing a black pullover, jeans and brown boots. The second suspect described as a white female, can be seen wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a subject has been identified that was suspected in a Fraud investigation.

 

Investigators advise that a tip from CrimeStoppers identified Montgomery County resident Caprice London as the offender involved in a Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card offense.  Warrants have been signed. 

 

On March 17, 2021, Caprice London entered a retail store in the 1900 block of Cobbs Ford Road.  Once inside, she allegedly used the victim’s credit card twice to purchase unspecified items.
