The Wetumpka Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that both suspects have been identified that was involved in a Felony Theft from a retail store.
Wetumpka Investigators advise that an anonymous tip through CrimeStoppers played a crucial role in identifying the female which led to the identification of the male suspect. The female was identified as Millbrook resident Brandi Dillon Bankson. The male, who was not shown on surveillance video, was identified as Millbrook resident Esteban Lopez.
Arrest warrants have been obtained for both Bankson and Lopez.

The Wetumpka Police Department is currently investigating a Felony Theft from a retail store.
On 12/20/2020 between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm an unidentified male and female entered the Wetumpka Walmart and placed several items inside of their shopping cart and exited the building without paying for the items. The suspects exited via a fire escape door located on the Garden Center side of the business and loaded the items into an older model Chevrolet SUV before fleeing the scene. The total for the items stolen are over $1,000.
Wetumpka Investigators are hoping that someone will be able to identify the female offender through the released photos. No photos of the male were captured.

Investigators advise that an unknown possible black male stole a silver 2014 Chevrolet Camaro from The Grove (Stone Park) apartment complex in Pike Road, AL. The offence occurred on November 29, 2020 at approximately 9:00 pm. The vehicle was recovered by the Montgomery Police Department in the 1400 block of Tara Lane, Montgomery, AL.
Investigators released photos from a neighbor’s Ring camera of the suspect.

The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that one suspect involved in a Counterfeit Money Investigation has been Captured. The other suspect is still at large.
Investigators advise that 24-year-old Montgomery resident Tyler Scott Kidd was taken into custody by the Montgomery Police Department on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 for unspecified charges. Kidd was wanted by the Prattville Police Department as a Person of Interest for passing counterfeit bills in September of this year.
Prattville Investigators are in the process of placing a hold on Kidd for an active felony warrant for Theft of Property 1st degree in another investigation. Once in their custody he will be questioned for Possession of Counterfeit Money. Kidd also has more than 10 felony warrants signed against him from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office where he is currently being held.
The second suspect wearing the red shirt and red ball cap has not yet been identified.

The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that one suspect involved in a Counterfeit Money Investigation has been identified.
Investigators advise that 24-year-old Montgomery resident Tyler Scott Kidd has been identified through CrimeStoppers as the suspect having big hair and wearing a white ball cap. Kidd is only wanted as a Person of Interest in this case but has an active felony warrant for Theft of Property 1st degree in another investigation.
The second suspect wearing the red shirt and red ball cap has not yet been identified. Kidd is urged to turn himself over to authorities as soon as possible.

The Prattville Police Department is currently investigating incidents of a person passing Counterfeit Money at multiple retail stores.
On September 17, 2020, between 8:55 and 9:15 p.m., an unknown male wearing a red shirt passed two counterfeit bills at a retail store in Prattville. He was accompanied with another male wearing a white baseball cap. Suspects left in a white 4 door passenger car.
Prattville Investigators are hoping that someone will be able to identify these suspects passing counterfeit bills through the released photos.

The offense occurred at 3765 AL-Hwy 14 (Tobacco Plus) Millbrook, AL on Saturday, November 21, 2020 around 6:10 pm. Investigators released photos of the suspect that aired on CrimeStoppers.
The offender was identified, and the vehicle was recovered. The victim refused to prosecute the offender. No other details were released.

Investigators released photos of the suspect that is being sought for Theft of Property 1st of a maroon in color 2002 Subaru Outback (AL Tag: 3934BB2), last 4 VIN: 4781. The vehicle has not been recovered as of December 2, 2020.

The Prattville Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a male wanted for Theft of Lost Property and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
On November 27, 2020 at approximately 4:53 am, a customer left their Apple iPhone in the restroom of a gas station located in the 1700 block of South Memorial Drive. A suspect described as a black male was observed on security cameras entering the restroom immediately after the victim had exited. The victim returned to the restroom within two minutes of exiting, but the cell phone had been taken. The suspect was observed entering the passenger side of a white 2009 Hyundai Sonata which exited the parking lot heading southbound on South Memorial Drive towards Montgomery.
Approximately 30 minutes after this incident, the victim received notification from her banking institution that the suspect attempted to use her debit card at the Ann Street Walmart in Montgomery. The victim’s debit card was attached to a card holder on the stolen cell phone.
Investigators released video and still images from the gas station of the suspect.

The Prattville Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that a suspect has been identified from a Theft of Lost Property investigation. Suspect is no longer wanted by Law Enforcement.
Investigators advise that thanks to the tips received from the public through CrimeStoppers they were able to identify and make contact with the suspect. The suspect admitted that she was the one in the video and is cooperating with investigators. This case is still under investigation. Charges of Felony Theft of Lost Property 3rd degree is pending.

(a) The theft of lost property which exceeds five hundred dollars ($500) in value but does not exceed one thousand four hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($1,499) in value constitutes theft of lost property in the third degree.

The Prattville Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a female wanted for Theft of Lost Property.
On November 27, 2020, Prattville Patrol Units responded to a theft call at the Roses Discount Store located on Main Street in Prattville. The victim reported losing her wallet in the business and stated that it was returned to her while she was there. The victim advised that the wallet was returned but without the cash ($585.00) that was kept in it.
Investigators released a video from the business that shows a female enter the business, pick up the wallet, and look around for the owner for a moment. She then puts the wallet in her jacket pocket, goes to the restroom, and exits the restroom with the wallet, claiming that she found it in the restroom.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged white female with blonde hair as seen in the video.

On November 18, 2020 the Opelika Police Department began an investigation into a Theft of Property, First Degree, at Almost Anything Pawn, located at 221 South 9th Street in Opelika, AL. At approximately 2:45 PM on November 17, 2020 a suspect can be seen on camera reaching over the display case, taking multiple bracelets, placing them in his pocket and then leaving the store.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hat, black mask, long sleeve black shirt, camouflage pants and grey and white Jordan shoes.
