The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office originally requested public assistance locating fugitive Jason Dempsey wanted for burglary 3rd degree in June of 2023.
Dempsey was wanted for burglary 3rd degree and theft of property 4th degree. Court documents indicated that Dempsey unlawfully entered a dwelling, stole a laptop, and left the scene.
Central Alabama CrimeStoppers was notified by investigators on March 7, 2024, and were advised Dempsey has been located and is now in custody. Dempsey is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

On June 8, 2023, investigators asked for assistance locating Bowen who was originally wanted for theft of services 1st degree. Court documents indicated that Bowen did not pay for lodging by deception, threat, or other means to avoid payment while staying at a Montgomery area hotel. The services exceeded a value of $2,500.00.
Investigators credit an anonymous tip provided through CrimeStoppers with providing the whereabouts of Bowen. The information ultimately led to the apprehension of Bowen.

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the location of fugitive, Clifford Maurice Mosley, 50. Mosley is described as a black male, 5’11 ft. in height, weighing approximately 170 lbs.
Mosley is wanted for failure to register as an adult sex offender with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say Mosley has previously been assisted in the past with hiding out to avoid prosecution. Investigators say anyone who assists Mosley with hiding out will be prosecuted for harboring a fugitive.

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have located fugitive, Matthew Wayne Goin, 35.
Goin was originally wanted for felony domestic violence assault 3rd degree with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office.
Talladega County investigators requested public assistance from CrimeStoppers on May 22, 2023. A lookout for Goin was provided by CrimeStoppers to the media and on social media. The fugitive lookout received a tremendous public response being shared across multiple social media outlets.
Investigators notified CrimeStoppers on June 21, 2023, and advised that Goin was taken into custody by St. Clair County on unrelated charges. Goin will be transported to the Talladega County Jail after he is released from St. Clair County.
Investigators would like to thank the media and the public for helping spread the word about Goin.
Goin is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

Hill failed to pay for damages and did not appear in court on October 17, 2019, as previously ordered to do so. Hill was also charged with assault on another person during the original incident.

The Union Springs Police Department is investigating a Homicide and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, is offering a $1,000.00 cash reward for the whereabouts of the suspect, Rashaad Williams.
Union Springs Police Investigators released a photo of a subject wanted for questioning for an ongoing Homicide Investigation. The offense occurred, Thursday, August 18, 2022, at about 5:47 p.m. in the 600 block of Bernard Street. Upon arrival, police located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene. A second victim, suffering from a gunshot wound was later located at a local hospital where he was being treated for his injuries. Police say one suspect was taken into police custody and one suspect is still at large.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspect, Rashaad Williams, with a nickname of Nefew Rashad. Rashad is wanted for questioning involving the August 18, Homicide Investigation.

Ball was arrested on August 20, 2023, and placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility for CPFI 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
