The D’Iberville Police Department is currently investigating the homicide of three people whose bodies were found on October 5, 2011 inside their residence located on Seymour Ave. in D’Iberville, Miss. The victims in this case were Rong Chen and his wife Mei Rong Li (both 40 years old), and another relative, Mei Jin Li (53 years old). The married couple also owned and operated the Chinese Happiness restaurant, located on Central Avenue, just blocks away from their residence. All three victims were stabbed to death and their bodies were discovered inside their house by a child who was returning from school. Police believe the murder occurred sometime in the morning hours of October 5, after the children left for school.

Irvin Richardson, Jr., a 31 year old resident of Picayune, was fatally shot on February 16, 2019, in New Orleans, LA. Richardson was found dead inside his pickup truck at 7:04 AM in the 600 block of Austerlitz Street, New Orleans.
This case is being investigated by the New Orleans Police Department in conjunction with Picayune Police Department.
A reward is being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment.

Alvin Levon Oatis lived in his van behind his sister's house. Oatis was found dead in his van at 2218 31st Street on June 6, 2008, in Gulfport, MS. The 53-year-old’s death has been ruled a homicide from a blow to the head.

On 07 August 2009, at approximately 0438 hours, the Biloxi Police Department responded to 2620 Lejeune Dr. reference to a possible shooting. When officers arrived they found 38 year old black male Xavier Seales lying deceased on the floor with an apparent gunshot wound. During the course of the investigation it was discovered the suspect(s) had broken into the apartment through a locked window. It does appear a struggle occurred between Seales and his attacker(s) prior to the shooting.
This case is being investigated by the Biloxi Police Department.

On the night of September 12th or early morning of September 13th Angela Lizana Hammons, 43, was shot while answering someone at her carport door on Moran Road in Lizana, MS. Neighbors heard four shots, but did not call any information in. Angela was found the morning of the 13th by her mother. At approximately, 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015, an unknown assailant or assailants kicked in the front door of Mr. Duffy’s residence on Dicks Street in Waveland, MS. Mr. Duffy died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Around 12:15 AM on February 27, 2019, police found Brooklyn Alsobrook and Maxwell Isley Phillips dead after responding to a report of shots fired at 3004 8th Avenue, just off Pass Road across from Central Elementary School. Alsobrook was found inside of the duplex she shared with Phillips, and Phillips was found just outside of it. Two men had been seen running from the scene. Alsobrook was 18 at the time of her death.
This case is being investigated by Gulfport Police Department.

On March 2nd, 2020, officers were called to 264 Stennis Avenue in Biloxi, MS at 1:18 a.m. for a report of shots being fired. While they were checking the area, Davon Gregory Williams was found shot to death in a vehicle. The suspects were last seen in a gold-colored sedan. Davon was 36 at the time of his death.

Gunfire rang out the night of June 14, 2020, just after 8 p.m. at 518 26th Street. The victim, later identified by Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer as Keith Lawson of Gulfport, died at Memorial Hospital from multiple gunshot wounds. Lawson was 33 years old at the time of his death.
The Gulfport Police Department is investigating this case.

Joshua Adam Baker, 23, of Gulfport died Thursday, March 6, 2008. Joshua was found dead in his truck of a gunshot wound to the head. Gulfport police said he was found at 4000 Ponderosa Drive, where his Dodge pickup hit an automobile that was some distance from where his vehicle had drifted.

Kimberly Holcomb Watts was murdered in her home on Woodcrest in Long Beach, MS on the evening of November 10, 2014. Her co-workers at Gulfport Memorial Hospital became concerned when Watts did not show up for her morning shift the next day and alerted her family members, who found her deceased body at her residence. Watts was found strangled and stabbed to death on her bedroom floor. She was 48 at the time of her death.
This case is being investigated by Harrison County Sheriff's Office.

On February 1, 2018 at approximately 6:00 p.m. a relative of Kenneth Charlot went to his residence located on Seal Avenue in Pass Christian to check on him. Upon arrival into the residence, the relative discovered suspicious circumstances and contacted law enforcement. Charlot was not located inside and his vehicle was missing.
On February 1, 2018 at approximately 11:24 p.m. the Gulfport Police Department responded to a vehicle fire on 31st Street near 43rd Avenue. The vehicle was identified as Charlot’s vehicle but he was not located.
On February 2, 2018 at approximately 11:00 a.m. the Gulfport Police Department responded to a deceased person located in the area of 29th Avenue in Gulfport. The deceased was identified as Kenneth Charlot. He was the victim of a homicide. Charlot was 60 at the time of his death.

His case is being investigated by George County Sheriff's Office, Greene County Sheriff's Office and MBI.

Lloyd "Daniel" Cecil, Jr. was last seen on May 27, 2022, around 9-10 PM, leaving the Government Street Grocery, Bar, and Restaurant located at 1210 Government Street in Ocean Springs, MS. He informed his friends that he would be leaving due to not feeling well and set out on foot. Video surveillance showed Cecil walking south on Kotzum Avenue, wearing a light blue t-shirt, khaki shorts, and flip-flops. Friends reported him missing after being unable to locate him that night. Cecil was 27 at the time of his disappearance. He is a Caucasian male with dirty blonde hair and a short beard. He has hazel eyes, a height of 5ft 9in, and weight of 182 lbs.

Jefferson “Jeff” West was last seen leaving his family’s residence on Washington Street in Bay St. Louis on July 2, 2018. He was 46 at the time of his disappearance. He is 6ft 1in tall and weighs between 190-215 lbs. He has short brown and partially gray hair, a partially gray goatee, and brown eyes. He has a missing upper right front tooth, a possible nipple piercing, and multiple tattoos (the number 39 with flames around it on the upper part of the left arm, “Steph” and barbed wire on the upper part of the right arm, and “Dirty South” above the navel). He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, shorts, sneakers, and a red NASCAR ball cap. West has not been in contact with family or friends since his disappearance and did not have a phone, wallet, or vehicle upon leaving.

She was last seen wearing a black strapless top, blue jeans, and brown sandals. Rodgers was 51 at the time of her disappearance. Rodgers is a Caucasian female with medium length strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a height of 5' and weighs between 130-140 lbs. She has a tattoo of the Marine Corps symbol on her left shoulder.
