029/19 News Release - Attempted Kidnapping Suspect Wanted
May 03, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for an Attempted Kidnapping which occurred in the Ewa Beach area.

 

On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a witness observed a white Chevy Colorado pickup truck parked on the side of Kaileola Drive and Keoneula Boulevard.  The witness then observed a male trying to pull a juvenile into the truck.  The witness intervened at which time the male let go of the juvenile and fled in the truck.  The witness stated that there was also an unknown female sitting in the passenger seat.  The juvenile victim has not been identified yet but is being described as an Asian male approximately 9 to 10 years old, fair skinned with dark hair and was wearing a gray or blue shirt.  

 

Suspect: Unknown local male

Age:        30s

Height:    5’6” to 6’0”

Weight:   200 to 220 lbs.

Hair:        Black hair, scruffy beard and side burns.

Clothing:  Blue t-shirt, shorts

Tattoo: Hawaiian islands on left arm.  

Suspect Vehicle:  Chevy Colorado, four-door pickup truck, tinted windows. “Aloha” sticker on driver’s side rear window, damages to rear bumper.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for Criminal Property Damage in the Second Degree which occurred at the Hawaii Law Enforcement Memorial and the Gannenmono Commemorative Monument located at 530 S. King Street.

 

Between Saturday, April 20, 2019 and Monday, April 22, 2019, an unknown suspect spray painted graffiti on the Hawaii Law Enforcement Memorial and the Gannenmono Commemorative Monument with the tags; FUSSI and SSI.

024/19 News Release - Attempted kiddnapping and Assault Suspect Wanted
April 17, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for an Attempted Kidnapping and Assault in the Second Degree which occurred in the Kapolei area.

 

On Monday, April 8, 2019, at approximately 3:35 p.m., the victim was walking on Kuou Street in the Kapolei area when a juvenile female approached her and asked for help because a male was following her. The victim then intervened by pushing the male and telling the juvenile to leave. The male then pushed the victim onto the ground, cut her with a dangerous instrument, and fled the scene.

Weight:   150 lbs.

Hair:        Brown, shoulder length

023/19 News Release - Sex Assault Suspect Wanted
April 15, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for a Sex Assault in the Kapolei area.

 

On April 15, 2019 at about 5:10 a.m., the victim was walking in the area of Keahumoa Parkway and Iwikuamo’o Street when she was approached by an unknown male. The male then assaulted the victim and demanded money from her. The male then sexually assaulted the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle.

Height:    5’10” 

Weight:   220 lbs

Hair:  Short hair, wavy on top

Complexion:Dark

Clothing:  White or light colored hoodie.

017/19 News Release - Fake Jewelry Scam
March 12, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to inform the public about a fake jewelry scam that is occurring.

 

There have been reports of individuals approaching people over various parts of the island and asking them if they would like to purchase jewelry that appear to be authentic.  The individuals are stating that they are in desperate need of cash and are willing to sacrifice the jewelry for a discounted price.  Please do not purchase any jewelry from strangers on the streets.  Purchases should only be made through reputable dealers or stores.



016/19 News Release - Warrant Suspect Wanted
March 06, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shaun Hart, who is wanted for a $100,000 Grand Jury Bench Warrant for Theft in the First Degree, Identity Theft in the First Degree, Conspiracy to Commit ID Theft in the First Degree, and Unauthorized Possession of Confidential Personal Information.  Hart has no prior conviction and is known to frequent the Honolulu area.

News Release - Robbery Suspect Wanted
February 12, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree.

 

On Friday, February 8, 2019, at approximately 12:45 p.m., an unknown male entered the Ohana Cigarette store, located at 1331 Makaloa Street, brandished a black semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and demanded money from the register.  The male then fled in a red older model Ford Ranger pickup truck.

January 28, 2019

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Michael Garcia, who is wanted for a $300,000 Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Execution of Mittimus on January 23, 2019. 

 

Garcia has 19 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waikiki, Kalihi, and Honolulu areas.

News Release - Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted - 083/18
December 24, 2018

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for an Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.

 

On Sunday, December 23, 2018, at approximately 7:21 p.m., two males were walking in the parking lot of Sunny Mart, located at 2215 North School Street, when they were involved in an argument with several males. An altercation ensued and the suspect discharged a firearm towards the two males, subsequently striking one of the males. The male who was shot was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
