News Release - Robbery Suspects 048/17
November 08, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two males who are wanted for Robbery in the First Degree.

 

On Saturday, November 4, 2017, at approximately 5:45 a.m., two masked male suspects armed with machetes entered McDonald’s Salt Lake and attempted to take money from the registers. Both suspects then fled on foot.

News Release - Robbery Suspect Wanted - 044/17
October 04, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree.   The incident occurred in the Pearl City area. On Friday, September 15, 2017, at approximately 7:43 p.m., the victim was leaving urgent care, when the suspect came from behind and pulled her purse, dragging her along the ground. The suspect fled when a security guard chased him.

 

At approximately 7:55 p.m., a suspect matching the same description attempted to pull a purse away from another complainant at the Wal-Mart Pearl City. The suspect fled when multiple witnesses chased him.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for an Attempted Kidnapping of a juvenile in the Ewa Beach area.

 

On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at approximately 7 a.m., the suspect attempted to coax a juvenile into his vehicle.

News Release - Murder Suspect Wanted 042/17
September 29, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Tiseya Eric Puapuaga who is wanted for Murder in the Second Degree.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the victim was sitting fronting the Maunakea Liquor & Grocery store when he was shot multiple times with a handgun. Puapuaga has been identified as the suspect that shot the victim. He fled in a white Toyota Matrix bearing Hawaii license plate NTW 970. The vehicle has been recovered. Puapuaga is known to frequent the Chinatown, Aala Park, and Keeaumoku areas. He has ties to Northern California and previously lived in Sacramento.

New Release -Social Media Extortion Scam 029/17

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department want to warn the public about a social media scam regarding unknown females requesting to friend you. Once the friend request is accepted, the female will entice the person to commit a lewd act. If the act is performed, the female will inform you that the act has been recorded and if payment is not received the recording will be released on social media. Please do not friend anyone that you have not met in person.



New Release - Kidnapping/Extortion Scam 028/17
June 13, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department want to warn the public about a scam regarding a family member being held for ransom. The caller, who is a male, informs the person via telephone that a family member has been kidnapped and that they are to wire money to an address located in Mexico. All money transfers are requested through Western Union. The calls are made from a private number and the caller sounds like a Hispanic male. The public is warned not to send money and to call the police. If the call comes from a private number, let it go to voicemail.



News Release - Robbery Suspects Wanted 027/17
May 19, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three males, who are wanted for Robbery in the First Degree.

 

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at approximately 12:35 a.m., three males went to a residence located on Kamamalu Avenue, knocked on the door, and claimed to be police officers.  The residents opened the door, were bound with duct tape and had their property taken at gunpoint.

News Release - Failure to Render Aid 020/17
April 13, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a white Toyota Corolla who is wanted for Failure to Render Aid.

 

On Saturday, April 8, 2017, at approximately 5:25 a.m., a female crossing Kapiolani Boulevard from makai to mauka at the intersection of Kamakee Street was struck by a white Toyota Corolla who fled eastbound on Kapiolani Boulevard.

 

A passenger side mirror was located at the scene. The female was transported to the hospital in critical condition with head injuries.

News Release - Attempted Robbery Suspect Wanted 019/17
April 10, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Attempted Robbery in the Second Degree.

 

On Saturday, April 1, 2017, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the complainant was loading her vehicle after shopping at Costco Iwilei, when an unknown male entered her vehicle and grabbed her purse from the front passenger seat. The complainant attempted to stop the male and he dragged her to the ground as she held onto her purse. She was able to hold on to her purse and the male fled in a dark colored Chrysler 300.

Age: 20s

Height: 5’4” to 5’6”

Weight: Medium build

Hair: Black short wavy

Facial: Goatee

News Release - Robbery Suspect Wanted
January 26, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three males wanted for robbing a delivery truck.

 

On Friday, November 11, 2016, the complainant was making a delivery to the Apple Store located in the Ala Moana Shopping Center when he was confronted and assaulted by two males while unloading cargo.  Suspect #1 brandished a handgun, threatened the driver, and took the keys for the van.  Suspect #2 got into the driver’s seat and attempted to drive the van away with suspect #1 in the passenger seat.  The complainant was able to grab suspect #1 out of the van and attempted to detain him until police arrived.  Suspect # 2 drove off in the van containing numerous Apple products.  While waiting for the police another, a vehicle pulled up and an unknown male, suspect #3, exited the vehicle, brandished a handgun, and threatened the complainant to release suspect #1.
