News Release - Murder Suspect Wanted
January 24, 2017

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Nicolo Lorenzo.

 

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Lorenzo was discovered unconscious at the intersection of Iwilei Road and North Nimitz Highway with stab wounds to his body.  He was known to frequent the area.

News Release - Cold Case Homicide
December 19, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) who may be responsible for a double homicide that occurred on Sunday, September 7, 1980, at approximately 6:40 a.m. 

 

A boat operator at Maunalua Bay Beach Park discovered the bodies of two males lying on the ground in the open parking lot next to a blue 1971 Buick, two-door coupe, bearing Hawaii license plate 2C-4946. The males were later identified as 21-year-old Lance Corporal Rodney J. Padilla, and 19-year-old Lance Corporal Lawrence E. Martens, assigned to the Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe. The Department of the Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death for both victims were cerebral wounds due to gunshot.

News Release - Robbery Suspect Wanted
December 15, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree.

 

On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at approximately 10:53 a.m., the victim was waiting at a bus stop located at the Aloha Tower when a black Nissan Titan pickup truck pulled up next to her.  The front seat passenger of the truck, exited the vehicle, brandished a dark colored handgun, and demanded her purse. The male got back into the truck and fled in an unknown direction.

Burglary Suspect Wanted - News Release 068/16
October 11, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating suspect(s) who are wanted for a burglary the occurred on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Wahiawa Middle School.

Att Murder Suspect Wanted - News Release 067/16
October 11, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Attempted Murder in the First Degree.

 

On Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at approximately 12:20 a.m., the complainant and a friend drove to Metcalf Street in an attempt to locate his stolen Nissan.  They observed a Nissan parked on Metcalf that resembled his vehicle and stopped to ask the males about the vehicle.  One of the males approached, lifted his shirt, and exposed a tattoo across his stomach.  The complainant and his friend left the area and observed the Nissan drive off.  They attempted to follow the vehicle when the male with the tattoo stepped out into the roadway, pointed a handgun at them, and fired several shots.

Attempted Sexual Assault - News Release 060/16
August 31, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for an Attempted Sexual Assault in the First Degree.

 

On August 29, 2016, at approximately 11:15 a.m., a female entered the restroom located at 1481 South King Street and observed an unknown male standing inside. The male attempted to sexually the complainant but fled after a witness entered the restroom.

Sex Assault Suspect Watned - News Release 056/16
August 08, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for Sexual Assault in the Third Degree.

 

On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the 14-year-old female victim boarded the bus at the Alapai Transit Station.  While on the bus the male suspect stood behind her and sexually assaulted her.  Upon arrival at the Waipahu Transit Station, the female notified the bus driver who called the police.  The male exited the bus and was last seen walking towards Times Supermarket.

News Release - Witness Wanted - 049/16
July 19, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating witness(es) to a motor vehicle accident.

 

On Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 8:55 p.m. a white Nissan Versa was travelling Honolulu bound on Pali Highway when it collided with a tan Toyota Camry traveling Kailua bound that  attempted to make a left turn from the Pali Highway to Kamehameha Highway.  A 93-year-old passenger from the Nissan Versa died due to the collision.



Robbery Suspects Wanted - News Release 047/16
July 14, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating four suspects who are wanted for robbing a delivery truck.

 

On Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at approximately 8 p.m., the victim and a passenger were in a delivery truck driving westbound in the area of Roosevelt Avenue and Essex Road when a green pickup truck pulled alongside them. The front passenger in the green truck brandished a handgun and ordered them to pull over. The delivery truck stopped on the roadway adjacent to the wastewater treatment center, and the victims were ordered to exit and lie facedown on the ground.

 

Additional suspects in a white sedan arrived at the scene, and the victims were ordered to unlock the rear of the delivery truck. The suspects removed 35 yellow crates containing 290 cartons of cigarettes. The cigarettes are valued in excess of $26,000. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

 

The suspects were described as possible local males wearing black clothing with some type of cloth covering the lower portion of their faces. The suspects spoke "pidgin."

 

The suspects’ vehicles are described as a green older Nissan pickup truck with Cadillac-type rims and a white sedan.



News Release - Failure to Render Aid
July 05, 2016

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a dark-colored SUV that fled the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

 

On Monday, July 4, 2016, at approximately 11 p.m., a SUV travelling eastbound on Farrington Highway, just prior to Hakimo Road, collided into a 46-year-old male.  The victim was crossing Farrington Highway in a marked crosswalk fronting his residence. The victim was transported to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition.  The SUV may have front end or windshield damage.
