Hazelnut, the beloved goat from Great River School on Energy Park Drive in St. Paul was kidnapped, killed, mutilated, and found in a plastic tub on June 26, 2023. A distant neighbor spotted her being carried over the shoulders of a man headed toward the train tracks.

 

Hazelnut was no ordinary goat. She traveled to MN with a family in their minivan. She responded to her name, and would get in a vehicle. She was a very trusting soul and touched the hearts and lives of students and staff at the school. Hazelnut and the community need your help. Any information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the killing of Hazelnut may be eligible for up to a $3,000 reward from Crime Stoppers of Minnesota. Any tips must be sent to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to be eligable for the reward.

In the early evening of 8/14/22, the home of the owners of a popular local concession stand was burglarized in NE Austin near the airport. This was the last day of the Mower County Fair in Austin, which the family-run business participated in.

 

The burglars broke several windows and drove a vehicle up along the side of the home as they attempted to remove a sizable gun safe. Several items were stolen including a large amount of cash, the large gun safe and contents, personal documents, and collectibles and gaming equipment. The home was ransacked, and the homeowner’s peace of mind and security was stripped from them.

 

Based on eyewitness reports, there may have been an individual posted at the fairgrounds to monitor the family’s closing activities at the fair. Witnesses also report seeing a vehicle casing the neighborhood and parked suspiciously leading up to and on the day of the burglary. 

 

The family has partnered with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to offer an enhanced reward of up to $6,000 for information sent to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the murder of Dayton Rossetti. Tips must be sent to Crime Stoppers of MN, and result in an arrest in the case of Dayton Rossetti.

 

26-year-old Dayton Rossetti  (pictured) of Minneapolis was found dead as a result of a gunshot wound early in the morning of July 30, 2019.  He was found in the area of Lakeview Knolls Park near the 14300 block of 93rd Av in Maple Grove, MN. There is up to a $10,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest relating to the murder of Dayton Rossetti. All tips must be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Minnesota, and you will remain anonymous.

On Sunday, June 4, 2021, Nicholas Enger was the victim of a stray bullet, killing him while watching a street race.  The shooting happened at about 1:45 a.m. near East Lake Street, under the bridge that goes over Hiawatha Avenue in south Minneapolis.  Police report that people in cars were “driving recklessly and spinning around” when two people got into a fight.  They started shooting each other and a stray bullet struck Enger, a bystander who had stopped to watch the cars.  17 year old Nicholas (pictured) was an innocent victim with an interest in working on cars and trucks.
