The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect involved in two convenience store robberies.

On January 18 and April 17, 2019, an unknown suspect robbed the AM/PM store, located at 5284 North Lombard Street. In both robberies, the suspect was reported to be armed with a rifle or shotgun.

The suspect is described as a Black male, 30 – 49 years old, a tattoo on the left side of his neck, and short hair, balding in the rear.

 

 

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify people and a vehicle associated to a March 2019 shooting in Southeast Portland.

On March 21, 2019, at 9:53 p.m., Portland Police East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the area of Southeast 148th Avenue and Powell Boulevard. Officers arrived in the area and learned that the shooting happened outside of Murphy’s Market, located at 14902 Southeast Powell Boulevard.

No gunshot victims were located at the scene but officers did locate evidence of gunfire.

The suspect is described as a male, possibly Hispanic, in his late-teens or early-20s, wearing a white baseball hat backwards and a black t-shirt.

The suspect’s friend is described as a male, possibly Hispanic, in his late-teens or early-20s, wearing thin, gold-rimmed glasses, pink hair on top of his head, wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark jeans.

The suspect vehicle is a white Chevrolet Malibu, driven by an unknown female.

Surveillance video did capture images of the suspect vehicle, the suspect, and the suspect’s friend.

Any information about the vehicle, suspect, or suspect’s friend can be shared with investigators.

 

The Portland Police Bureau and Portland Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect who started a fire in a dumpster at a North Portland convenience store.

On March 3, 2019, at 10:50 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a dumpster fire at the Plaid Pantry, located at 6510 North Greeley Avenue.  Store surveillance video showed a Black male enter the parking lot at 10:45 p.m. and walk towards the dumpster, moments before the fire started.

 

The Portland Police Bureau and Portland Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspects in a fire investigation.

On February 18, 2019, at 6:20 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue responded to Ross Dress for Less at Cascade Station on a fire alarm activation. Fire crews arrived at the scene but could not find the source of the smoke.

The following day, a store employee found a pair of athletic shoes under a bench that showed signs of fire damage around the plastic security tag. A review of store surveillance video showed two unidentified subjects in the area of the fire, and one of the two using a lighter in an apparent attempt to remove the security tag by setting it on fire. After the attempt to remove the tag failed, both subjects left the store and the damaged shoes were left under a bench.

The unidentified subjects appear to be teenaged Black males and are shown on store surveillance video.

 

 

 

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve the 2018 homicide of Armond Harper.

On Friday October 19, 2018, at 9:58 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting at North Rosa Parks Way and North Albina Avenue.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and located 42-year-old Armond Ramoan Harper suffering from a gunshot wound. Passersby were providing medical aid to the victim prior to police and EMS arrival. Harper was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel were unable to save Harper’s life and he died early the next day.

Witnesses described the suspect as a Black male in his 20s, medium build, wearing gray or black clothing, and that he ran out of the area, northbound on North Mississippi Avenue.

 

 

 

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify and arrest a suspect involved in a fatal hit and run.

On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 10:17 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the intersection of Southeast 138th Avenue and Southeast Division Street on the report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. 

When officers and emergency medical personnel arrived at the crash scene they located 54-year-old Loan T. Diep deceased on the roadway. Members of the Portland Police Bureau Traffic Division's Major Crash Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

Based on the initial investigation, officers believe Diep was walking south across Southeast Division Street when she was struck by a vehicle being driven west on Southeast Division Street. Shortly afterwards Diep was struck by a second vehicle that was also traveling westbound on Southeast Division Street. The driver of the first vehicle that struck the victim drove away from the scene. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene.

The only suspect description is that the vehicle is a newer sedan (the first vehicle that pulls over in the video). 

 

 

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve a Southeast Portland homicide.

On Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 11:47 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the 4000 block of Southeast 94th Avenue after multiple people called 9-1-1 to report gunfire.

When officers arrived in the area, they located 21-year-old Izryl T. Johnson in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided Johnson emergency medical aid until paramedics arrived at the scene. Ultimately, paramedics were unable to save Johnson and he died at the scene. The Oregon State Medical Examiner determined Johnson died as a result of homicidal violence.

There is no suspect information in this case.
