HCSO Detectives Work to ID Suspect Who Robbed Elderly Victim

On October 17, 2022 at 8:45 am, along Citrus Falls Cir., an elderly victim was approached by an unknown suspect who demanded his property. The victim complied, giving the suspect cash. The suspect demanded more, then struck the victim on his head above his eye. The suspect fled northbound through the parking lot of Seasons at Westchase.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 23-26 yoa, medium complexion, 5'07", 150lbs and clean shaven. He was lase seen wearing a bright orange polo style shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap. Detectives used the description to prepare a composite sketch of the suspect.

Reward Increased to up to $9,500 to Help Solve Franklin Street Murder

On October 9, 2022 at 2:56 a.m., a shooting occurred near the LIT Cigar & Martini Lounge at 908 N Franklin St. in Tampa, after a verbal altercation occurred between two large parties inside the lounge. The groups were escorted outside, where the altercation escalated when two (2) suspects opened fire on several people, firing multiple shots. As a result of the shooting, an adult male, 30 years old, died from a gunshot wound. Six (6) additional victims, (four adult males and two adult females) sufferred non-life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the Homicide Suspect is Unknown. He can be seen on surveillance video wearing a white t-shirt. Photos show him outside the bar and with Damaso Bravo who is wearing a black t-shirt.

HCSO Detectives Work to Find Suspect Who Stole Golf Cart

On September 24, 2022 at 6:50 p.m., the driver of a golf cart owned by Country Way Golf Club stepped away briefly, at which time an unknown black male stole the cart and drove eastbound on Waters Av. W. The cart is white, black and beige with the club's decal on the hood and is valued at approx. $5,000. The victim's personal golf clubs were on the cart and are valued at approx. $800. The suspect is 16-22 yoa, 5'10", 160 lbs., dreadlocks, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white design on the front, black shorts and slides.

Tampa PD Detectives Ask the Community for Tips in Early Morning Shooting

On October 5, 2022 at approx. 4:30 a.m., a homeless family of 5 was sleeping in their rental car in a parking lot near 2200 N Oregon Avenue when an unknown suspect(s) pulled up in front of their car and fired more than a dozen shots into the vehicle. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2006-2012 model, dark colored, 2-door sedan. The mother, a pregnant woman in her 20s, was struck in the head, but sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Her husband and three children, ages 9, 4 and 3, were uninjured.

On October 1, 2022 at approx. 12:45 p.m., a shooting occurred in the Corson Ave. area of New Port Richey. An adult male victim was shot following a dispute. The unknown shooter seen leaving the scene was a heavy-set black male, described as being approx. 6 ft tall with short black hair. The victim was taken to an area hospital due to the injuries he sustained.

The victim was believed to of been walking along the south side of the road when he entered the woods and was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim, Marcus Marquis, 25 years old, died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

In the early morning hours of August 27, 2022, 45 year-old Willie James Carraway was shot and killed while hanging out with friends in the 1500 block of North Nebraska Avenue in Tampa. Two other victims were struck by gunfire during the same time and in the same area.

HCSO Detectives Work to Identify Bank Robber

On August 15, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the Truist Bank located at 11015 Causeway Blvd, in Brandon. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash. After which, he fled on foot towards the back of the bank. The suspect was captured on surveillance video and is described as a white male wearing a red, white and blue Columbia hat, a dark-colored shirt, white or light-colored shorts and white shoes. He also had on gold-rimmed, Aviator style sunglasses.

Anonymous Donor Contributes to Raise Reward in Early Morning Hit N Run Fatality

On June 27, 2022 between 4:10 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., an unknown make/model vehicle was traveling northbound on Morris Bridge Road between Fletcher Avenue and Fowler Avenue in Temple Terrace. At 12110 Morris Bridge Road, in front of Promise Pointe at Tampa Oaks, a driver struck a pedestrian. Investigators believe the victim may have been hit a second time by another unknown make/model vehicle. The elderly male victim died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Area video surveillance has revealed possible descriptions of the vehicles believed to of been involved in the Fatal Hit N Run. Vehicle 1 is described as a dark color SUV, possibly a Jeep Wrangler. Vehicle 2 is described as a light colored sedan, possibly white or silver. The shape of the vehicle resembles a Lincoln Town car or Cadillac Brougham. The rear of the vehicle has a high mount stop light. Both vehicles have glass headlights and were traveling northbound on Morris Bridge Road.
