Responding officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside of the location. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded and attempted life saving measures, but the victim died at the scene. The victim has been identified as Sylvester Lawson III, 27 years of age. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE February 15, 2024 On November 20, 2023, at approximately 1:40 PM, District Four officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Meyers Drive for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a victim outside of that location suffering from a gunshot wound. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded and transported Claude Frazier III, 34-years of age, to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. The victim died from his injuries several hours later. UPDATE On February 8, 2024, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with assistance from the Fugitive Apprehension Squad, arrested Timothy Griffin, 32 years of age, on open warrants for Aggravated Murder and Aggravated Robbery in the death of Mr. Frazier. On February 15, 2024, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with assistance from the Fugitive Apprehension Squad, arrested Raymond Minnifield, 24 years of age, on open warrants for Aggravated Murder and Aggravated Robbery. Cincinnati Fire Department Personnel responded and performed life saving measures on the victim who died on scene. The victim has been identified as Elijah McCall, 31 years of age. The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with assistance from District Three personnel, arrested and charged Anthony Tooles, 36 years of age with murder for the death of Mr. McCall. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE May 24, 2023 On May 15, 2023, at approximately 10:40 PM, District Five officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3300 block of Central Parkway. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The victim is a male 34 years of age. Shortly after the shooting, two additional shooting victims from this incident, arrived at area hospitals, by way of private conveyance. The two surviving victims are not being identified at this time. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE March 06, 2023 On February 18, 2023, at approximately 4:45 AM, District Four officers, along with Cincinnati Fire Department personnel, responded to the 1100 block of Clearbrook Drive for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, District Four officers located an unresponsive gunshot victim, who was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel. A second victim was transported by private conveyance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. On March 3, 2023, Trevion Spraggs, a male 17 years of age, succumbed to his injuries at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Currently, The Cincinnati Police Department will not release any further information on the surviving victim. On March 6, 2023, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with the assistance of District Four’s Investigative Unit, charged Jesse Mascus, a male 15 years of age, with causing the death of Trevion Spraggs.
