The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the location of Taris Lamar, 40. Lamar is described as a black male, 6’1” ft. in height, weighing approximately 180 lbs.
Lamar is wanted for failure to appear on two burglary 3rd degree charges. Court documents indicate that Lamar knowingly entered an unoccupied building and stole an assortment of tools valued at over $2,500.00 and failed to appear for his scheduled court date.

The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Task Force is actively searching for the location of fugitive, Diego Barrera, 21.
Barrera is described as a Hispanic male, 5’5 ft. in height, weighing approximately 170 lbs. Barrera is wanted for Capital Murder by the Montgomery Police Department. Barrera was developed as a suspect in the shooting death of Carlos Jones, 39.
On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Montgomery Patrol Units and medics responded to the 1700 block of Upper Wetumpka Road in reference to a subject shot. Upon arrival, the victim, black male, Carlos Jones, 39 YOA, of Montgomery was found to have sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.
Investigators are acting swiftly to locate Barrera. In an effort to ensure Barrera is located in a timely manner, CrimeStoppers is increasing its cash reward for the apprehension of Barrera.
