Purpose
The purpose for which the Crimestoppers program was organized is to promote public safety and to lessen the burdens of the local, state, and federal government entities operating throughout the counties that Crimestoppers serves by motivating members of the public to cooperate with public safety officials.
Mission
Crimestoppers provides a secure process for the community to give information to law enforcement while remaining anonymous and encourages community involvement and cooperation with public safety officials by offering monetary rewards for information that leads to the successful conclusion of a case (i.e. the location of a missing person, the arrest of a defendant, or the recovery of significant stolen property).
