Welcome to Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers

Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers Program, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in Greenville, North Carolina, serving rural Pitt County and all municipalities within.

The mission of Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers, Inc. is to strengthen public safety through a trusted partnership between citizens, the media, and law enforcement. By providing an anonymous way for citizens to share information, promoting public awareness, and providing a reward-based tip program, we help law enforcement prevent crime, solve cases, and bring justice to victims while building safer communities across Pitt County.

How We Work

Crime Stoppers accepts information from the public about:

Crimes that have already happened
Ongoing criminal activity
Wanted or missing persons
Other public safety concerns
Crimes/dangers in local schools (Campus Crime Stoppers)

You can share tips by phone, app, or online, and you’ll stay completely anonymous. We never ask for your name or any identifying information.

When your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward.

Why It Matters

Many people want to help but hesitate because of fear or apathy. We remove both reasons, giving everyone a safe and easy way to do the right thing, while making money for their efforts.

Crime Stoppers receives no tax dollars and operates entirely through:

Volunteer board members
Tax-deductible donations from people like you

Get Involved

We always need:

Tips – to help solve cases. No amount of information is too small or insignificant.
Donations – to keep the program going. Donations from citizens like you and area businesses keep us open and working around the clock to keep you safe. (We accept donations by mail, Venmo, and Paypal. You click the Donate button below.
Volunteers - to serve as members on the Board of Directors (upon seat availability). We're always recruiting new board members with special skills; legal expertise, financial expertise, fundraising expertise, community engagement expertise, etc.

ANNUAL RADIOTHON FUNDRAISER

On July 17, 2026 from 7 AM until 9 AM we will hold our Annual Radiothon Fundraiser on the Talk of the Town radio show with host Henry Hinton. If you are in ENC, you can listen on 96.3 FM, 103.7 FM, or on the IBX Media phone app- click IBX Listen Live, then TALK 96.3 & 103.7.

We can accept pledges for the Radiothon and donations (single-time or recurring monthly) through the Donate button on this website, by mailing a check to Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers, PO Box 528 Greenville, NC 27835, or by bringing it by the IBX Media studio during the Radiothon show.
