Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers Program, Inc. is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in Greenville, North Carolina.
We work tirelessly promoting public safety throughout Pitt County by serving as a facilitator between local law enforcement agencies and the private citizens who have knowledge to share. Crime Stoppers seeks information from the public regarding crimes that have been committed, ongoing criminal operations, wanted persons, missing persons, and similar situations of public safety interest.
Through our telephone tipline, phone app, and website services we are able to keep the caller anonymous (we never even ask their name). We can then pay cash rewards in most cases if their tip leads to an arrest in a case.
Our methods encourage members of the community to assist local law enforcement to make their own communities safer. We help them overcome the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
Crime Stoppers receives no tax dollars and relies solely on volunteer board members and tax deductible donations from the public in order to operate this valuable program.
We are always in need of crime tips, donations, and sponsors. Enjoy our website and contact us if we may be of service to you.
Thank you for helping keep Pitt County the safe community that we love & deserve!
